Altering an album ..... make it your own ;)

I keep meaning to post this and today is the lucky day *smile!*  I recently  made this for a dear friend who celebrated her birthday.  I used to make these for our women's bible study a couple of years ago and had long forgotten them ..... so it was a fun day to refresh my memory and give it another try!

I found a calendar/day planner for the 2010 year but wasn't so happy with the way it looked ..... especially knowing her color scheme and what she might like ;)   So it went from this:
To this! {excuse the messy work desk!}  I added the bookmark and flower topper to keep in the page needed .....

And ended up with this :)
I am SO IN LOVE with these MFT Pure Innocence stamps!  I love them muchly :)   Once it's refurbished, add it back into the plastic sleeve and voila!

TFL and Happy Craftin!

  13. Okay - I stopped to look at this because the colours of the first photo caught my eye - they're so bright and vibrant so I wanted to know what you'd created. Well, even though the original is colourful I LOVE how you altered it!!!!! Great job and I'm sure your friend will love it.
