Yay, it's Friday!! I normally love it when it's Friday but this is going to be one of the busiest weekends in the history of our busy weekends, so not much rest here!
I'm excited to show you another Fabulous Friday card from Sugar Creek Hollow's digi image called "A child's dress". This was a Friday freebie - hopefully you stopped by SCH's blog and scooped it up to use :) And make sure to stop by today to see what's in store for you - both IN the store and the Friday freebie!
Today's card is based on SCH's sketch #4 ~ using the new DCWV paper "Linen Closet" to make the dress and card base. I added some K & Co glitter flowers with a big corderoy brad from Stampin Up and ribbons. I hope get the chance to follow along with the sketch this week - remember, follow the linky and play along for some beautiful winner blog blinkies! We'd love to see what you do! :)
And here's the sketch :)
Blessings & Have a terrific weekend!

Faithbook Page ~ April! {Song of Solomons 2:11}
It's April 15th! And for many people, that's Tax Day! But it's also the day the SOTC has chosen for our montly Faithbook Club's post of our faith based scrapbook pages. This project is my baby, one I am honored so many of the SOTC sistahs joined me in! Love you, girls!
Although my March page is still misplaced and waiting to be re-made (waaaaaaaaah!), I can bring you April! The hostess this month, sweet sweet Carol, gave us this most blessed verse to work with: Song of Solomon, 2:11-12 ~ "the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of singing of birds is come ..." Carol inspired us to think Spring - flowers, spring in the air ......... and I've had this beautiful picture of my daughter, Victoria, surrounded by a bed of flowers on her way and it just flowed. I had just scooped up these wonderful "Flights of Fancy" papers from the Prima Collection at my LSS and wish I had picked up more! They are positively exquisite.
And no, that is not my floor, rofl! It's outside :)~
Layered on a 12 x 12 Purely Pomegranite cardstock (SU!), I paired up the papers that matched the best but still wanted to showcase my wee Victoria :) The butons (SU and Fancy Pants) and large Prima paper roses are added dimension, and the butterflies are more of the same paper just cut outs ... AND one of the biggest reasons why I scrapbook and not digi-scrap - I'm a texture person and love to play around with the "stuff!" The scrolled, soft ribbon is from SU!'s Beachfront collection (scooped up from their awesome clearance sale .... why did I not buy more of that, too?!!) The verse I added off to the side in coordinating paper (flip side to "faith") but not sure I'm happy with the outcome .. it's just sort of floating there, but everytime I added something there (butterfly, flower, etc) it blocked the photo ....... any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! :)
Thank you Carol, for a fantastic scripture to work with and inspire me to create this faith page :)
Love + blessings!

Embracing my Inner Orange ....... ;)
Happy Wednesday!! Today is the day Inktegrity digi stamps releases it's new challenge for you! Have you taken the Inktegrity's Hump Day Inspiration Challenge? You should - check out this awesome sketch! And where do you go to play along? HERE!
Here is a sample for you ~ a card I made based on the colors of my friend's baby quilt :)
The sketch ............
Here is a sample for you ~ a card I made based on the colors of my friend's baby quilt :)
Okay, internet issues are solved and here's the card again! :)
I humbly apologize - I meant to load this last night but I ended up being glued to American Idol (will this season EVER pick up?!! ) and the fabulous premiere of Glee!!
SO...............
Straight up - I don't *do* orange! For some reason it's the most overlooked color in my craft room, poor little orange! I buy stacks of cardstock from PTI and SU and when it's down to bare bones empty, lil 'ol orange is usually still standing. Sad ..... considering I live in the ORANGE belt and SUNSHINE state!!
When my good friend showed me her new baby's room with specially made quilts and beddings, I spied some orange among the blues and greens. It really flowed well together and I remembered I actually had some dsp with a similiar pattern, lol (Now I know you crafter's get that, right? You see something and think "OH! I have paper to match that!") Seriously .......
So I am embracing my inner orange! I pulled from the colors of this Dreamy2 (that's the real name, tee hee!) to use as the backdrop and print out this even dreamier Teddy image from Inktegrity, added a dollop of orange from Basic Grey and played along with sketch #7 ~ albeit a small twist. Remember! You can rotate the sketch, flip the sketch, but keep the basic sketch pattern and we'd really love to have you play along this week! Joni, Inktegrity's owner, always offers the most generous prizes!! :)
I hope your day is orange-a-licious!!!

Sending prayers to a friend :)
Hi! I hope you all had a blessed weekend :) One of the things I never seem to have on hand is a prayer card, yet they are the ones I spent the most time making! I needed to send a friend a card this weekend and saw the Stamping Sisters in Christ Challenge which was just the inspiration I needed to get going :)
The wonderful and talented hostess this week is Lisa and gave us this scripture as inspiration:
Philippians 4:4-7 "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
The Challenge: Make a card/project about prayer and/or peace. I pulled out my new Basic Grey Kioshi collection papers and it just flew ~ using my Verve stamp (Jeremiah 29:11), I created this and I send this to her so she will know how very much she's thought of and prayed for during this time of uncertainty and wonder and worry! Truly a beautiful soul she is and shows such kindess and generosity to all others - it's a blessing to have her for a friend :)

It's the BBB April Release and Blog Hop! :)
ALL ABOARD (woot, woot!) FOR A NEW BUSY BEAUTIES ADVENTURE!!!!!
WELCOME!
Today is a very BIG day for us, and we are way beyond excited! We hope you’ll join us on a fabulous journey as we travel through Wonderland with awesome new ALICE INSPIRED IMAGES from the Busy Beauties Boutique! Along the way, we’re also welcoming our April Guest Designer, Susan! Our final destination is our BRAND NEW BLOG: The Busy Beauties Creation Station!!!!! The adventure begins at Catherine’s blog. If you are arriving from Michelle's blog, then you are on the right trail.
Ready for some card yumminess! Here is one card, using The MadScrapper! She is a gem indeed ~ I think I need one of these hats - at least I'd know where half of my things for scrapping and stamping would be! ;)
The other day while wandering around my LSS, I stumbled across this most YUMMYLICIOUS new paper from Reminsce called, of all things, "Fairy Tales". Two of the papers I bought (of a .... stack *smile!*) are Alice and her entourage of friends, but truly the showcase is the beautiful image of the MadScrapper. She was a joy to color! My card for you is also pretty clean and simple allowing MadScrapper to be the focal point.
Joining her is a matching card with the adorable Rabbit!
Sorry for the dark photos! (new camera still sits in box!)
As always, we have HOP PRIZES! There will be 3 winners chosen from the comments left on certain DT blogs, but it's a secret which blogs we'll draw from! The prize for these winners is their choice of 1 Free BBB Image! So be sure to leave some love all along the way! Blog Hop Winners will be announced Sunday night on the Creation Station blog. And there is a prize package for the randomly selected winner of our Inaugural Challenge, so be sure to check that out at the end of the hop!
Your next stop is the amazingly talented Heather! You won't want to miss what she has in store for you to see! Enjoy the ride and when you finally arrive at the Creation Station, you’ll see our Inaugural Challenge is posted and waiting for you!

What's up, Chick! :-)
Happy Fabulous Friday with SCH! This sweet chickie is from Sugar Creek Hollow's Easter Set but the cutest little fuzzy addition to Spring!
I had a blast one day this week surfing the old Mojo Monday sketches and this one jumped right out at me. It's a tweaked version using this darling image, yummy Cosmo Cricket paper in coordinating "farm-ish" colors ;) The middle frame is one I added so the chickie would have a place to be anchored but thought it would be fun to keep the same pattern going, but in reverse and then used some old olive colored brads and ribbon and faux stitching.
AND ... did you know that Friday's at SCH are FREEBIE Friday?! Make sure to peek HERE and right click on the image that Tracy has graciously given to everyone that stops in!
Enjoy your day and hope to see you back on Saturday for the BBB Blog Hop - you won't want to miss these new digi images coming your way!!!
Blessings,
Kelly

Ticket Please! :)
Welcome to Inktegrity's IHDI = Integrity's {Wednesday} Hump Day Inspriation Challenge #6! Due to traveling last week and arriving late, late on a flight, I wasn't able to show you the premiere of this most amazing and versatile set of 8 digi stamps called "Ticket Please!" Image the possibilities with cards, scrapbook pages (I have Twilight & New Moon still waiting to be scrapped!) or even Gift card holders!
I have prepared a card for you, using the Happy Birthday ticket printed on Summer Sun cardstock to resemble a real ticket :) Added to some dsp and image colored with prismacolor markers, following the sketch. Since there are no boo-boos in paper crafting {teehee!!}, I will just tell you that I MEANT to color the entire bucket red, ROFL!! Good thing we have blender pens to try to lighten it to nearly white *grin!*
And my card to go with!

*~* Happy Easter from the Kit-Cats! *~*
Happy Easter, friends! I hope your day today is filled with the blessings of His goodness and the reflection of this most Holy day brings you peace and faith-filled beauty to your days. The Easter Bunny was especially kind today and brought me a brand new camera! - it was actually birthday, but I was away from home on my birthday :( It will take me awhile to figure it out, tee hee, so in the meantime, I bring you this month's Kit-Cat from the lovely hostess this month - Lorie! I jumped with glee when I opened the envie to see so much green! (my very, very, very fave color!) From spring green to sparkly shiny green, not to mention the cutest little bunny stamp from PKS!
My card in comparison is pretty simple. I went with a 5 x5, using Kraft as my base & building on that with the 2 dsp squares. I knew I really wanted to use the shimmering green as it reminded me of the beautiful grass that lines the bottom of the Easter baskets.
And of course, I *had* to make my bunny pink, as it brings back the fondest of memories of the stuffed bunnies my mom would put in our baskets growing up - always blue for my brother, pink for me :) Using the buttons Lorie provided, I paired it with some spring colored cardstock I had on hand (SU! Gable green, pretty in pink) and added some flowers that I had also laying around along with some glittery green brads left over from Christmas, no doubt!
