Good Morning!
We survived winter!
All 2 days of it.
We had some absolutely gorgeous 60* weather for a day or two,
most of Miami bundled up in winter jackets, scarves, hats and
- yep, even snow boots!
I couldn't help but chuckle as I donned my short sleeves and capris,
soaking up every single bit of that chilliness ♥
It's the 9th of the month, which means the 3 Musketeers are back!
We are a trio of friends that swap an image every month,
and this month I was up as hostess :)
I knew wanted to send out an image that reflects winter and snow,
and A Snowman's Soul by Lil Inker Designs stole my heart when I saw it.
It reflects not only how much I long for snowy days,
but the memories of my brother and I romping in the snow for hours!
You may remember I posted a matching Fall themed card
with these cute vintage kids: Pumpkins
Such a darling image ♥
My card!
While I was not intending to create a card using terracotta,
my card took an adventurous direction!
My 11 year old son and I play this little game
where he will select 3 colors of his chosing,
whether it be sheets of cardstock, buttons, etc.
Sometimes they are spot on, sometimes they are a bit .... 'out there'!
Today is a terracotta/teal/brass combo,
and I'm actually kinda digging it now that it's done ~ LOL!
Be sure to check out Barb and Jeanette's blogs
to see what they've created with this identical image!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Big Hugs, Bigger Blessings!

This is so pretty. Gorgeous image and papers. I never would have thought to use orange for a winter card. It snowed a few inches here yesterday. I wish winter were only a few days!

ReplyDeleteSo adorable. Yes, I love the colors. Maybe not wintery, but they seem to really fit the image and it looks great! I do notice that there is no button on this card. LOL! A first for me - not seeing one on your cards. Sending wishes for a Happy New Year!
