Drive By Crafts ~ Valentine Shaker Card ♥

Hi friends!

I'm up on the Drive By Crafts blog today with a Valentine's shaker card
using wonderful products from the Drive By Crafts online store!
This festive shaker card includes
some fun products from My Favorite Things and Lawn Fawn,
and it's just in time to inspire your Valentine's Day cards ♥
Drive by Crafts has a wonderful assortment of stamps and die-namics
from MFT ~ perfect for mixing and matching, too, like I've done here.

Let me show you how I made this fun card!
Using the Peek-a-Boo striped heart die-namic, I created a die cut
in heavy weight cardstock to create a top layer.
I added a sheet of Lawn Fawn: Let's Polka In the Meadow
to the bottom, and filled my shaker card striped heart window
with berrylicious sequins  ~ so sparkly and glitzy!
When it was time to close the shaker card,
I used a heavy duty foam tape.

Next, I stamped, colored and die-cut MFT's Snuggle Bunnies
stamp and die-namic set.
I added those to the card using a quick and fast drying Nuvo glue medium pen and then added the matching sentiment from Snuggle Bunnies.
And voilĂ !
The card is complete and ready to send to your special someone ♥

I love this fun die-namic and already have a second card made
to show you soon!

For a quick glance, here are the products I used:

MFT Peek-a-Boo striped heart die-namic
Lawn Fawn:  Let's Polka in the Meadow
Berrylicious Sequins
MFT Snuggle Bunnies stamp set
MFT Sunggle Bunnies die-namics

CCEE 1804 ~ Can't Imagine .....

Hello friends!

The CCEE Stampers have a new challenge this week :)
Liz has given us our last challenge for the month of January
and it's a fun one!
We are to create a card using our favorite card making technique ~
and for me, it's masking and/or paper piecing .... so why not both! ♥

When MFT released their Furever Friends card kit, I about fell out of my chair!
I love ALL things with puppies and just have. to. have. it.  LOL!
My sweet husband saw me oohing and awwwing over the DT cards
and somehow found out the where/when/how and ordered it for me ~
and it was in my stocking Christmas morning ♥
Yes - he's a keeper!

AND, today it's getting a debut on my blog!
I created this card by stamping the puppy and kitten in the pet bed first,
then masking it off to stamp a puppy on one side, kitten on the other.
After coloring the entire card,
I restamped the little bed on designer paper and cut/glued it to the card.
Lastly, I stamped the matching sentiment and added some corner banners.

You, too, can play along with this week's challenge!
Simply link up your card to your blog/linky or a gallery and

use the codeword CCEE1804 and we'll stop by to visit!

If you'd like to see what the rest of the DT has created,
you can see those cards here.

Thanks for your visit today!
Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥

You are PAWSOME!

Hi friends!
  I'm home!

I'm still on Cloud 9 ~ friends, stamp camp, shopping, snow!
And I found 3 new Starbucks mugs in the airports for my City Mugs Collections:
Texas, Philadelphia and Maryland!
The Texas steer just makes me smile!
So excited to have added to my Starbucks collection!

Today I'm up on the Drive By Crafts blog
with a new card using my Waffle Flower stamp set:  Pawsome!
This super festive and brightly colored card is great for birthdays
and more, especially for those that love furry critters (like me!)

Here's how I made it:
I used a circle die to cut the cardstock pattern and added dsp behind it.
I stamped out the Waffle Flower images from the Pawsome set
from Drive By Crafts and colored them with prismacolor markers.
After cutting those out, I added 3d foam behind each animal,
the balloon and cake to popped them up for dimension.

You can find this stamp set and more at

Thanks for stopping by!
Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥

The Project BIn ~ XOXO!

Hi friends!

Today is the day that I post for The Project Bin ~ Yay!
In a few hours, I will be flying back home to Miami
after a MOST incredible visit with some super awesome crafty friends!
Barb is truly the hostess with the mostess
and made sure we were entertained from start to finish ~ thank you!
Barb, Carol, Darlene, LJ, Jeanette, Terry, Shelly - love you ♥

Not only did we get to enjoy good friends and good food,
we had good fun at Camp Stamp in Oga,
making cards and crafting till all hours of the night!
And there was snow!
Not falling, but plenty on the ground, especially the first
of hiking and exploring ♥

Back to my card:
I'm gearing up for Valentine's and tried using the polka dot heart
stamp from In My Heart from The Project Bin as a focal image
to create 'designer paper'.
I cut a small piece of cardstock and ran that through the Big Shot
with Gina Marie wonky stitched rectangles.

Then, stamped it in 4 different colored inks using the MISTI.
After adding it to the red A2 cardstock base, I used the big shot
again to make a die cut of the X0X0 in the same set.
It's so versatile and there's so many way to use this stamp set!
 Speaking of The Project Bin,
Lookie!  Lookie!
3 of us on the DT were together when the brand new stamp sets arrived
at Barb's house!

Jeanette has the wonderful Kinda Sorta and Barb is holding Hole Foods!
You can find these and more at The Project Bin!

To see more stamps and dies and card inspirations,
you can go here and look around!

Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥

Baby, It's Cold Outside!

Hi friends!

Today's the day!
I'm flying off to meet some wonderful crafty friends for a 5 day getaway ~
oh, the shenanigans crafting we will be doing! :)

And that's just what today's card is ~
the 3 Musketeers card this week was this darling image from Barb.
And the CCEE Stampers theme this week from Liz
was "Baby, it's cold outside" so this card fits both needs ♥

These 4 friends are from Art Impressions and they sure
look they are bundled up from some cold weather -
hats, scarves, UGG boots and COFFEE!

I'm convinced I am the one in the green ~
just look at her face looking at that big 'ol Starbucks.
I have that same look when they hand me mine - LOL!

So here is my 3M/CCEE card ~ friends, crisp cool air, coffee ♥

Sorry my post is short and sweet today ~
I'm typing as I'm packing :)

You can see what the other CCEE  Stampers have made
with cold weather cards here

And Barb's card and Jeanette's card are here!

Drive By Crafts ~ Wood You?

Hi friends!

How completely adorable is this darling woodchuck!
It's from the Avery Elle stamps and available in the shop at
I'm up on the DBC blog today,
I thought I'd show you a little more detail about my card.

I stamped and colored the sweet little woodchuck, tree stump
and flowers which are all from the set.
I scissor cut all 3 of those
~ the Tim Holtz non-stick micro serated mini snips are perfect
for precise cutting and little nooks and crannies!
I made created the background with beautiful paper from
Pink Paislee: Birthday Bash 6 x 6 paper pad,
and a circular die for 'faux' grass.

Lastly, I added the stamped/cut images to the card
using some of my favorite glue, Nuvo glue!
This is really magnificent and dries clear and quick and doesn't warp
the cardstock or patterned paper!
The darling woodchuck is popped up on
3D foam variety pack from Scrapbook Adhesives
I really love how it pops up, giving the card extra dimension.
And although I cut today's stamped image with scissors,
there is a matching die set for this Avery Elle Wood You?
How sweet is this!

You can see more inspiration on the blog:
and stop in the store and add some of your favorite stamps to your stash!

Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥

Dueling Darlings ~ On the 18th ....

Hello again!

*I have two posts today -
for my card with The Project Bin, please go here!

It's the 15th of the month,
and that means the Dueling Darlings are back with another friendly duel :)
This month, our hostesses for The Divas is LJ,
and the hostess for The Dazzlers is Darlene!
They sent such an incredible creative kit!
A calendar stamped image marking the new year
and we were to 'fill in the rest'.

Now ... my card .... I almost didn't post it.
I know, I know ...
sometimes we hit the mark and LOVE a card,
and sometimes we don't.

But this card .... this one right here ....
is more than just a card :)
It's a representation of a chance to meet some really incredible friends
that I have been wanting to meet for a long, long time!
This week, on the 18th, I'm boarding a plane (or two)
and connecting for a long crafty weekend!

To say that I am excited is an understatement :)
That's why when LJ sent the card kit, I immediately had an idea.
I left it with a little gem marking the 18th of January ♥

Therefore, my card ..... it's just paper, really.
It's not what I wanted to make, but it makes me smile knowing
that little gem means something so. much. more!

And LJ, I'll do better next time.

Be sure to stop in an see all the card from the DDD ~
they are listed in my sidebar.
Meanwhile, THIS GIRL needs to pack!

From Miami to Wisconsin - now there's a 180 turn!
Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥

Growing in Unity - Day 3!

I scooped it right up!

It reminded me so much of Charlie Brown's tree
but more importantly, the matching sentiment stamp really spoke to my heart.

Drive By Crafts ~ Hope Your Birtthday is a SMASH!

Hi friends!

*I have 2 posts today!
For my Growing In Unity Day 2, click here!

Today I'm posting on the Drive By Crafts blog
and every Tuesday, I'll share with you a new card I've made
with the amazing products from the store!

Are you ready to FIESTA?!
This cheerful, festive birthday card was created by
products from Drive By Crafts online store!

Here's what I did ~
I stamped/die cut/colored the Lawn Fawn Year Seven stamp set
and set that aside to assemble the card base.
Drive By Crafts has an wonderful assortment of Lawn Fawn stamps
and what's fun is the ability to scoop up a few and mix and match :)

I propped up the images on 3d foam and glued the paper to the back
using my very favorite glue - Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive glue.
If you haven't used this glue, you need to and I highly recommend it ...
it drives fast and clear and the paper doesn't get warped or wonky!

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set
onto white cardstock and used it as a banner.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Big hugs, Bigger blessings!
~Kelly

Here are some of the products I used:
 Lawn Fawn stamps/dies
