Bokeh coffee!

 Hi friends!

Today's card is taking the good with the bad

and the not-so-pretty with the pretty!

I tried a new to me technique for the Alpha card group

 B = Bokeh technique.

I loved it!

It was super fun and a new way to jazz up pretty backgrounds.

But ............

then my card fell flat!

I just wasn't thrilled with how it turned out but that's okay!

It was fun and the process was in the learning not the perfection :)

To create this card, I blended several distress inks into the background.

Once it was dry I added a stencil and sponged Hero Arts Unicorn ink

in a random fashion to create the circles.

I colored Latte Lucy from C C Designs in similiar colors

and popped her on the front and added a coffee themed sentiment.

I'll be doing this technique again for sure -

just plan my card out differently next time :)

 Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hey, at least you tried. I'm terrible about staying in my comfort zone. Mine fall flat and I fling them across the room into the recycle bin. I think your card turned out pretty doggone good.[Bunny]
