Santa Claus is coming .......

.... to town!

And he is checking his list - and checking it twice!
But I know all of you, my friends,
are all on the nice list ♥

Isn't this image darling!
I really, really, really, REALLY love images of Santa!
This darling Stampendous "secret santa" stamp was sent to the 3M
this month by Barb, our hostess for December.
When I saw it, I was instantly smitten!

I actually colored up this Santa at 1 am,
waiting for my daughter to come home with her boyfriend from a date.
I was sleep deprived and seeing cross-eyed ...
so imagine my (pleasant) surprise to wake up the next day
and see how beautifully it was colored - ROFL!!
Guess I found my perfect time to color and the conditions to color in! :)

For the inside of my card,
I used one of the fabulous sentiment stamps from The Project Bin.
The stamp is from the Maybe Christmas stamp set
and a perfect match to this - and any - holiday card ♥

Be sure to stop on over to see what Barb and Jeanette made
with this secret santa stamp!

Big hugs, bigger blessings!

DDD ~ Give Thanks ♥

Hello friends!

It's the 15th of the month,
the day the Divas and Dazzlers from the DDD 'duel' :)
Our hostesses for this month's duel are Carol for the Divas
and Shelly for the Dazzlers ~
chosing a most wonderful theme of "Give Thanks".

My card today is using the image/papers and embellishments from
the rich, vivid and sparkly kit sent to us from Carol.
The only thing I used of my own was cardstock and glue!
Naturally, when thinking of a card design,
I just had to use some sparkle as Carol's kit just glitzed and glammed,
her signature touch!
She also sent us two images to chose from,
and I chose to use the praying little boy with his bear.
The image reminded me so much of my son,
a faith-filled little man of God.
He makes my heart beam with pride when I hear him every day
telling me a story of how he prayed
or was able to be a witness to a friend in need.
He inspires me daily!
Without further adieu, my CAS card .......

and the inside of my card:

Be sure to stop in and see what the rest of the Divas have made
 with this same image/paper kit!
And what the Dazzler's have created with their "Give Thanks" kit ...
you can find them all in my sidebar ►
Thank you, Carol and Shelly -
I am very grateful ♥

Thanks for stopping by today :)
Big hugs, bigger blessings!

Luke 2:11 ♥

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour,
which is Christ the Lord." ~ Luke 2:11

 Happy SONday!

Just 42 more days until the most celebrated day of the year - Christmas!
One of my favorite images for the holidays is the 3 Wise Men,
seeking and honoring the infant Jesus born in Bethlehem.
What a sight that must have been to behold!

Today's card is a CAS card I made for The Project Bin,
using a new sentiment from the Luke 2:11 set.
I stamped it right onto the kraft cardstock,
added a Nativity image of the 3 Wise Men,
some bold ribbon, rustic twine and a button.

You can find this sentiment,
as well as many more for every occasion,
here in The Project Bin shop

Big hugs, Bigger blessings!

3M: Dashing through the snow!

Good morning, friends!

It's the 9th of the month,
the day the 3 Musketeers post our cards with a surprise image :)
This was my month to provide the image
and this is the one I chose:
Snowy Trio by Purple Onion Designs.

I bought this stamp and matching sentiment the SECOND I saw it
while blog surfing ...
It was love at first sight!

Call me crazy, but I love and long for the snow! ♥
Having grown up mostly in Europe with real winters and lots of snow,
I miss all wonders and beauty of it.
Alas, here in South Florida we had "sand"men and
lights strung up in palm trees and iced cocoa, LOL! :)

Here is my take on the image this month:

My card has a base of dsp from a mish-mash holiday blend,
and I've added sugar stickles to the 'snowy' areas.
I've added a snowflake from my stash that I covered in white faux snow paint
and then sprinkled it with Martha Stewart glitter, and a pearl adorns the cent

Be sure to see what Barb and Jeanette have made
with the image as well .... you won't want to miss it!
Next month, Barb is up and I'm sure she has something fun
in store for us ♥

Big hug, Bigger Blessings!

Election Day!

Good Morning, friends!

Today is a historical day for our country - electing the new president.
In honor of that day,
I've created a simple CAS card with a wonderful quote stamp
from The Project Bin stamps ....

"Whatever you are,
be a good one."
~Abraham Lincoln

That's the best we can hope for with an election
as interesting as this one has been.
I've paired it with an American flag stamp
that has been in my stamp bin for a good 10 years!
Perhaps it was waiting for today :)

You can find this stamp in the shop here
Today's card is using the Wise Men stamp set,
and you can find inspiration and more beautiful cards from the DT ♥

As always,
Big hugs, Bigger blessings!

HaPpY HaLLoWeEn!

 HaPpY HaLLoWeEn!

I hope today is a fun one without tricks
and with plenty of treats :)

Today's card is one using another fun image from the
Haunted stamp collection from The Project Bin.
This stamp just makes me laugh!

In fact, I do drive a stick ....
just not on a broom - hee hee!
My sporty red Jeep Wrangler is a stick shift
and it's always great fun to take her out ♥

Today's card, however, is one using traditional
Halloween colors, simple stripes and a geometric design,
I wanted the stamp to be the focal point of the card,
and then added some little orange gems for an extra pop.
The inside is just plain white cardstock
for a quick message .....
so no photo :)

Be safe out there tonight if you are venturing out!
For more card inspirations and stamp shopping,
you can check out all The Project Bin blog
and goodies here in the shop

Leaves are falling ........

Happy weekend, friends!

How I just love autumn!ere in South Florida we don't get a traditional fall ~
leaves changing colors in a burst of oranges and reds and browns,
warm sweaters and a new crisp chill in the air.
But one thing we do get is the promise that all the months
of togetherness and thankfulness and gratitude and celebration
are right around the corner :)

If you haven't already heard of The Project Bin stamps,
you simply MUST go visit the shop and inspiration blog!
The stamps are just fantastic and so versatile
and perfect for your stamping needs this upcoming holiday season.
From Halloween to Thanksgiving, Christmas and beyond ...
all those 'right around the corner' moments!
There is truly something for everyone!

This beautiful fall quote is perfect for my card today :)
"Leaves are falling, Autumn is calling" ♥
I've stamped it in Momento Tuxedo Black right onto the dsp.
I also used a few pieces of fall inspired designer paper
and propped it up with some 3D foam to give the card a little edgier look.
The paper flowers and little orange gems give it just that little extra pop.

Be sure to stop by the store and browse around,
as well as peek at the delicious card samples to give you some inspiration, too!
Be well, friends!

Big hugs, bigger blessings!

DDD - All Things Fall!

Good Morning, friends!

I. am. so.  excited!
 Today is a big day!
There's something that has been on my "bucket list"
for quite some time .. and lucky me,
today it's getting a check mark :)

And what is it, you ask?
It's really "corny!"
Yes - corn!
A real life corn maze ♥

My kids and I are heading to some farmland this afternoon
with honest to goodness pastures and farms and rows and rows of crops.
And tractors.  And cows.  And pumpkins!

Since we are talking pumpkins, todays' card is made from the October
Dueling Darlings themed kit, this one called "All things Fall."
What a fun theme from Kadie and Paola,
and Kadie's kit was just too cute!

My card is using Whipper Snapper stamps and this triple stack
of jack 'o lanterns was colored with my watercolors.
I went with the art class watercolors - very rich pigmented colors!
I love how rich and vibrant the pumpkin color just pops IRL :)

Kadie and Paola also asked us to share something about Fall
specifically to our area.  Other than the church craft bazaars and the
slight change in the air, Starbucks Pumpkin Spice lattes ♥,
we mostly associate Fall with Trick or Treating!
The kids love it, and it's fun to visit the houses on our block(s) that go all out!

Well, that's it for me today -
I"ll be back later ♥

Big hugs, Bigger Blessings!
~Kelly

DDD - Olympic Glory

Well, hi there!

I'm back with another 'catch up' card,
this one from the DDD August kit sent to us by Judy!
While my card has been done for weeks,
it's just been chillin' on the side lines waiting for me to get back here :)
The DDD's August theme was "Go for the Gold!',
focusing on our Summer Olymics in Rio ♥

Judy sent the kit for the Divas and Deb sent the kits to the Dazzlers :)
Judy sent us a gorgeous, jam-packed kit filled with Olympic flag papers,
sequins and ribbons and the most adorable die cut Olympic rings!
My eye drew right in on those circle dies,
and they quickly became the focal point of my card.
I wanted to use the adorable ScrappinDoodle digital stamp as well
so this was my way to combine the two.
The gems are added to the outside of the circles in coordinating colors.

Judy asked us to share what our favorite summer Olympic sport
to watch is, and mine is definitely soccer!
We are HUGE soccer fans and each have a supporting cast of our
favorite 'footballers' so it's a lot of fun (and loud!)
in our home when the matches are on, LOL.

Thanks for stopping by to see my tardy card,
and I'll be back this week with a couple of other catch up cards :)

Big hugs, Bigger blessings!
~Kelly

3M: Coffee time!

Hello, friends!

Hard to believe it's been a month since I've posted!
And it is October, after all ....
fitting since I had to dust the cobwebs off my blog today :)

It's been a whirlwind here in South Florida
(and not just due to hurricane Matthew)
with life events, busy-ness and juggling so much.
I have felt every bit of God's grace and mercy working in my life,
and I'm pulling from the old saying:
"Trusting God won't make the mountain smaller,
but it will make it easier to climb."

I'm officially creating through the chaos :)

Since today is the 9th of the month,
that means it's time for the 3 Musketeers to post our cards.
This month, Barb was our hostess and send us the incredible
Tim Holtz "Fresh Brewed" coffee blueprint stamp and matching die cut outs.
How perfect for me!
It had my name all over it :)

You may notice that my take on the card has shades of green ...
it's not only my favorite color
but I'm channeling my favorite coffee with a a green siren logo :)
I paired it with some cardstock and dsp in shades of similiar greens,
and used the embossed coffee cardstock as a backdrop,
added some baker's twine and wooden dots for dimension.

The inside is very plain but you can see a bit of it peeking out here:

This week I'll be sharing a lot of 'back logged' cards with you,
as well as some new cards celebrating the season upon us.
I hope you can stop in for a visit ♥
Meanwhile, be sure to visit Barb and Jeanette
and see what they made with this identical image.

 ,
Big hugs, bigger blessings!

"Witching" you a great Halloween!

 Hi friends!

Did you know that there's only 60 more days until Halloween?!
Indeed!
Before we know it,
it'll be time for costumes and parties and Trick 'o Treating :)
While I love all things harvest and fall,
my kids always enjoy picking out their costumes and going door to door,
bringing home way too much candy!

Today's card is from the ever fabulous The Project Bin stamps
from the new "Haunt it" stamp set.
Super fun!
I absolutely adore this hilarious stamp sentiment
and added it to a burst of color papers I just got in from Echo Park.

I've stamped this sentiment in Momento Tuxedo Ink
but these stamps are just marvelous with colored inks and embossing as well.
For this card, I've rounded the corners of some papers,
made a banner and added some simple enamel dots.

And what a better time to go see what's in the shop -
Hurry, the free shipping date is nearly over!

I'll see you soon with another card from The Project Bin ♥

Big hugs, Bigger Blessings!
~Kelly
