Step aside, coffee!

Hey hey, friends!

Happy Friday!

It'sm 7 am  BUT it's 5 o'clock somewhere! :)

How cheeky is this card!

I'm up on the blog at Crackerbox Stamps today

with this peek inside a cafe - complete with an awning!

I used 2 stamp from Crackerbox Stamps to create this beauty:

Step Aside Coffee

and

Martini Lady

This card is a 6 x 6 and perfect to tuck a gift card inside, too!

To create this card, I used a heavy weight cardstock,

added a pretty pink designer paper and added the stamped images.

Lastly, I added a scalloped border die cut to resemble an awning

at a chic Parisian cafe!

DON'T FORGET THE BIG SALE!

50% off selected stamps!

3M: Frosty Mornings!

 Hi friends!

Cheers!

Coffee is one of my FAVORITE things on the planet!

One of the running jokes in our home is

if anyone is needing a gift for me, I'm a size Venti in Starbucks! :)

Today is the day we (the 3 Musketeers) post our cards

based on an image received, taking turns every 3 months!

Barb, Jeanette and I all have this same image to create a card

and this is what I came up with with Hello Bluebird Frosty Mornings.

This card came out backwards for me!

I always plan my card design and layout first

and then color accordingly.

For this one, I was coloring at my desk and then had to go dig

for paper to (mostly) match what I'd already colored!

Some days are like that, I suppose!

You can see Jeanette's card here

and Barb's card here.

Thankful for YOU!

Hi friends!

Today's set of 5 cards are celebrating Thanksgiving

and the season of Gratitude.

I created these 5 cards using a stamped sentiment set from

Simon Says Stamp, the fall critters from Waffle Flower Crafts

and designer paper from Lawn Fawn.

Each card has a different critter (lucky for me, the set had 5!)

as the challenge theme was: 5 cards of Gratitude.

Here are a couple!

They are humbly simple being that I hastily made

these an hour before the Instagram hop posting time!

I had a set of 5 Halloween cards that I'd created

for a youth group and saying thanks to them with 'boo mail."

But then I realized Halloween had passed us by

and it didn't sit right so I got to work - FAST!

Wishing you all a day filled with thankfulness!

One Plus Twelve - November!

Hey friends!

Today's post is the November edition of

my One Plus Twelve card challenge.

Here is the original post from 2019 when I had this epihpany

and this is my 5th year of this challenge :)

I've mentioned before - and it bears repeating ~

this is my absolute favorite challenge that I do!

For 2023, I am using Waffle Flower Crafts Larkspur ~

a truly unique and beautiful stamp and die set.

Here is my November One Plus Twelve card:

This month, I went with a collage-y style card creation

and sort of channeled my favorite Disney ride:  Haunted Mansion.

I was going for an October-just-ended-haunted-black-and-white vibe

and ended up with this collage style grey, black and white look!

I DID color the flower - LOL!

I went with a grey scale to let the muted collage colors flow.

Since this photo, I did add a pink strip off to the left ~

I'll try to add another photo today :)

I invited my friends Barb and Jeanette to join me

in this adventure in 2019 and I'm happy to share

we'll be returning in 2024 for year 6!

Be sure to check out their cards today
or somewhere near this date :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Purple-ween!

Hey friends!

Happy Friday!

As a mom to 4 kids,

I'm happy to say that none of them share the same favorite color!

It makes picking out 4 of sun'in so much easier!

My oldest daughter's is purple!

So it was naturally A LOT of fun

to make and send her a Halloween card!

You can see a short video of this card on my YouTube channel!

To create this card, I used 3 purple prismacolor markers,

3 colors of distress oxide inks

(wilted violet, shaded violet and villainous potion)

and 3 Lawn Fawn sets: Spooky Village, Crazy ANTics and Trick or Treat!

I'll enter this card to this week's current

 Lawn Fawn Challenge #159:  monochromatic

I hope you have a great weekend!

Call me Crazy!

        Hey friends!

I have a new card up on the Crackerbox Stamps blog today ....

Call Me Crazy .. but I cut up paper! :)

For this fun card, I used this stamp:

                                  Call Me Crazy

This was a fun card to create, taking designer papers

and adding them like puzzle pieces

with the sentiment as a focal point.

JINGLE all the way!

 Hi friends!

There are only 64 more days until Christmas!

Let's Jingle All The Way!

Today's card features these adorable caroling critters

getting ready for the holidays!

And I'm sure they don't sound baaaaaaaaaad :)

This adorable stamp and die set is Fa La La from Waffle Flower Crafts.

I colored it with my prismacolor markers and

it's one layer wonder - gasp!

I'm a chunky girl!

I love layers upon layers and dimension so this was HARD!

Summon a DEMON?

 Hi friends!

I'm back on the Crackerbox Stamps blog

today showcasing 4 stamps on one card!

Dust off your recipes cards my friends ~

you're going to need a new one! :)

For my card today, you can find all the stamps

at the Crackerbox Stamps store or just click

my affiliate links below at no extra cost :)

To make this fun card,

I started with Lady with News and Summon a Demon stamps.

I first stamped the sentiment to make room for the recipe card

space box and then stamped the lady.

This is colored with Copic sketch markers.

Next, I masked off the outer areas leaving only the box free

and stamped Spooky Spider and then the left cobweb

after masking off the spider!

This card just cracks me up

and would be fun to pop in the mail to make a friend laugh!

That's it for today!

Thanks for stopping by :)

You're fab-BOO-lous!

Hey friends!

Today's share is a wee bit different than my normal card posts

but it's pretty spook-tacular!

This is my project share for the YouTube open collaboration

ATC/MEMDEX share.

It's a weekly creation of any ATC (Artist Trading Card) and/or

a MemDex (Memory Dex card), theme of your choosing.

These are great for swaps, adding to friend mail, etc.

You can see the short video on my YouTube channel

and I'd love it if you could subscribe to my channel!

This is the ATC card, a small 3 x 2.5 cardstock

with paper from Echo Park Studios and cute stamped images

from Sunny Studio Stamps!

I kept the theme going with the matching MemDex

and used a die that was a gift from a friend a couple of years ago.

MemDex cards are perfect for adding to Rolodex style holders

and 'back in my day' that's how information was stored!

Then we went straight to the WALL and made our phone calls

while still stuck to the wall ~ LOL!  Kids these days have it very lucky!

I still have trauma from that curly cord and everyone hearing

your whole phone call - hahahaha!

Finally, one last look at both together!

I'm thinking how cute this would be with a cellophane

bag of candy tied to it for BOO mail!

Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you BERRY much!

Hi friends!

Quick post today since we just got in from

 a birthday bonanza and vacation!

I'm still playing catch up on posting to my blog

and wanted to share some of the cards I posted to Instagram.

Like this one!

I was very lucky to win a generous GC on Instagram

 from Pretty Pink Posh

and this is one of the stamp and die sets I chose.

So sweet!

I LOVE strawberries!

Especially ones from the farmer's market that are freshly picked - YUM!

I hope you are having a beautiful day!

Trick or Treat card!

Hi friends!

I'm back on the Crackerbox Stamps blog today

with a super fun Trick or Treat card!

For today's card, I stamped Ghost Flying onto the top sky corners

and the Halloween Kids on bottom panel.

The faux watercolor background was created by smooshing

ink and water onto the cardstock.

I let the colors dry and then stamped directly onto the paper.

Here's another look

AND a reminder that there is a 50% off sale!

Check it out here!

If you'd like to do some holiday and Christmas shopping,

there's a sale going on right now for past hoilday stamps.

Wow!

Happy NOEL!

Hi friends!

Although Halloween is right around the corner,

 today we're celebrating Christmas!

It's the 9th day of the month and that's The Three Musketeers

posting day where we showcase a card.

It's based on ONE image, THREE friends

and we take turns sending each other a surprise image

and we all create a card!

For October, Barb sent us this sweet House Mouse image

called NOEL.

It's quite large for a stamped image so I focused on the coloring.

If you are new to House Mouse, definitely check out them out.

The mice are so cute and whimsical and always getting into antics!

You can see Barb's card here

and Jeanette's card here on their respective blogs.

Take care and thanks for stopping by!
