Bazinga!

Happy Friday!

Are you ready for the weekend?!
Hopefully you have lots of fun plans
and are enjoying the start to summer :)

My card today is from the fun Bazinga! stamp set from The Project Bin,
a super fun source for snappy sentiment stamps!
The wonderful thing about A Way With Words stamps from TPB
is they are unique and stand out in the crowd ~
offering fun sayings that you don't see often in the stamping world...
like this one from Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory tv show!

My card today is a great use of two things:
scraps that were in my ever growing 'use me' pile
and dry embossing only a partial part of the cardstock.
You can see it a little better in the close up.

In previous attempts at using an embossing folder and the cuttlebug,
it would leave small 'lines' on the outside of the area dry embossing
or cover the entire area that was going through the cuttlebug,
leaving the 'roped off' area with again - those lines!
I wanted a cleaner, crisper look
where just a small portion of the cardstock is embossed.
I acheived this with good 'ol fashioned elbow grease!  LOL!
I added the A2 size PTI heavy weight cardstock to the embossing folder,
used a bone folder and just rubbed and rubbed and rubbed!
Ta-da!

 Super fun end result!
What I love so much about this card is the bright pops of colors
against the white and the contrast it gives the image :)
My card is actually a similiar CASE to one I saw a year ago on Pinterest
and it stuck with me ~ but can't find to create the OP ~ apologies!
Hopefully this one will inspire you, too!

You can find this fabulous stamp set and many others in the store.
