VSN: Card #1 ~ Concert in the park!

 

Hi friends!

It's an fun stamping start to the weekend!

In between moving rooms (furniture included!) and packing up

bins and boxes to move it from one room to another, 

I'm making card for VSN at Splitcoaststampers!

I also signed up a few weeks ago for another class with Jenn

using distress inks but I'll be popping in and out - depending on time.

So for me, it's more like follow the cardmaking :)

The 1st theme of the VSN (Virtual Stamp Night) is a Concert in the Park.

That's probably one card theme I didn't own and really had to 

think outside the box.

  I used my Strike Up The Band from MFT Stamps,

coloring the adorable mice in their band unis!

I colored 4 mice, one of each of my children 

but there's one facing the wrong way - THAT would be my son, ROFL!

I omitted him and will make another card later :)

The very light background is from a stencil and tumbled glass DOI.

And that's my 1st card!
