Hi friends!
Today is National Foam Roller Day!
I know, right?
You were looking forward to this day alllll week, I'm sure!
:)
This is the new challenge at the CCEE Stampers this week:
Use any rolled technique!
There are many possibilities,
like paper rolling, brayers, marbles - have fun with this!
Here is my card, using acrylic paint and a brayer.
I added it to the top and pulled the paint downward.
NOT thrilled with how this turned out
but I just didn't have a chance to create ~
much less REcreate!
Some times you win, sometimes you just say cheers!
Please use the keyword CCEEE2218 if you post to an online gallery
AND
stop by the CCEE Stampers blog to see all the DT cards this week!
Crafty hugs!

Love the texture and bright colors. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI would say cheers to this one Kelly - what brave use of the colours and wonderful texture you have obtained! The large word is perfect against the background

Love the background you created with your brayer
ReplyDeleteYour rolled background is just fabulous with those bright colours, Kelly . I don't know why you don't are satisfied. I think that a little simple flower or a heart added in the "O" of the sentiment might give a booster to your card :)
ReplyDeleteHugs and thanks for all your fabulous inspirations
I love this Kelly! I love the way the colors worked together with the use of the brayer. Sometimes we are not the ones in control of our art, the medium is. Sometimes colors just want to do their own thing and some tools we use like brayers give them that liberty, but even with that being the case, they still come forth as art even on their own. Sometimes I feel like that is when medium uses me as a tool, and they make their own statements. It's a fun turn of events to embrace.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome is this! I love it!! So bright and vibrant, Kelly!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors in your background.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I had no idea there was a Foam Roller Day, but I'm glad you knew, Kelly, because it gave you a reason to create this awesome card.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a fab card Kelly, love the bright colours and the mix of shades, Kate x
