Welcome to the Carriers of Faith Blog Hop!
You can find the beginning of the HOP here on Barb's blog ~
which is where you will need to start for the first clue!
This month, we are doing things a little bit different AND
it includes our lovely Guest Designer, Maxine, AND a blog candy give-away!
As you hop from blog to blog, each of the Designers will have a letter for you.
Once you have all the letters, please leave a comment below
on this post to let me know you've completely the hop,
what the word is and how I can reach you if you are the ONE random
lucky winner :)
The COF is a group of Christian crafters from SCS
with rotating hostesses with a themed scripture/card challenge each month.
This month, I am the hostess and I asked each of the lovely ladies
to create a card based on the scripture from Psalm 107:2 ~
"Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—
those he redeemed from the hand of the foe..." ~ Psalm 107:2
My challenge this month: Tell Your Story!
The Challenge this month is to create a card/project/scrapbook page/picture based on the scripture above and what the meaning you pull from that is. Tell us your story! What speaks to your heart? What gifts do you have that you give to others as part of a fellowship - do you read, pray, write, create, walk, sing? There are so many parts in each of us ~ what part of your story are you sharing with others? As an added bonus but not required!! Please use the color GREEN {my VERY favorite color!}somewhere on your card to represent newness, growth, the blossoming of nature around us and the blooming friendships we have!
So, based on this challenge, I actually went with a simple sentiment rather than try to narrow down one 'thing' that I do, especially since I wear many hats!
And the inside sentiment is one from an image exchange:
In the end, while searching my ODBS, I came across Kind Hearts
and it just felt right. I think part of my daily walk and constant prayer
is to instill in my children the gifts that they can use to better themselves
and bestow upon others. In Hosea, it talks about planning the seeds of kindness and watching the resulting growth. That's my mission
with sharing God's word with my children as well asking for them to be kind,
in all things ♥
I followed the current Deconstructing Sketch to complete my card
as well as ColourQ colors combo - so beautiful!
Maxine, it means the world to me that you were a guest on our hop this month!
You will have a surprise package heading your way this week!
Blessings, dear friend!
