There's a new challenge at the CCEE Stampers blog ~
Roses and Pearls!
Lynn has been the amazing hostess for the month of June
and this is her last challenge of this month:
The rose is the national flower for the month of June while the pearl is June’s gemstone. I am therefore asking the CCEE Stampers to include both of these beauties on their card for this week’s CCEE Challenge!
This is my final week as challenge hostess, and I hope you will play along and share a wonderful design using the rose and pearls!! Won't they make for beautiful June wedding cards?
My card today is using a rose stamp and die from Altenew
called Amazing Things.
It is such a beautiful set!
I started with a watercoloring of the roses,
and while it was drying, did a quick stenciled background
using a polka dot look with Picked Raspberry distress ink.
Once both of those were dry,
I added a sentiment from the Tim Holtz ideology sticker set
and popped the roses up on some dimensional foam.
I am fresh out of pearls (shucks!) so I added the closest thing I had:
white enamel dots from Altenew!
Be sure to stop over at the CCEE Stampers blog
and check out the rest of the cards from the DT!
Thank you, Lynn, for your wonderful month of challenges!
Kelly, this is so pretty... and I love the sentiment, too!ReplyDelete

What a gorgeous card Kelly, I love the rose image and the pretty colours you've used. Hope you are keeping well, Kate xReplyDelete
I like the various colors you used on your rose. Plus the dotted background gives it just the right amount of support. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.ReplyDelete
Beautiful and colourful watercolouring Kelly, and such elegant design!ReplyDelete
Kelly, this is such a gorgeous card. I was busy with VBS this week so didn't get back to the blogsite until this evening. So glad to see your pretty card added to all the others. Yours is so unique in these dreamy colors. And I love the soft textured look the dotted background adds.ReplyDelete
Love your rainbow rosesReplyDelete
