Spring is here! It's smell AWFUL!

Hey friends!

Today I'm sharing a hilarious card for my friend Geeta's

Giggle Group!

I have been on a major purge and while destashing my stamps,

found some that I'd forgotten that I had.

This Big Grumpy from Taylored Expressions has been with me for years.

I had so much fun sorting through the accesories stamps,

like Easter and Halloween!

I used the flower pot from the Easter set

and ended up taking the potted plant

and trimming it so I'd have just the flowers.

Grumpy is sitting in a garden!

Thanks for stopping by!

Send a Card to a Friend Day!

Hi friends!

I love Sundays ♥
It's such a wonderful day in our home ~
one that allows us to catch up and reconnect and just be.
I always make a huge dinner to fill the bellies
and it's smelling SUPER in here!
 _
Speaking of super, today is Super Bowl Sunday
and IN MY CITY, too!
The boys are outside tossing the ball around
and I'm watching them out the bay window, cardmaking at my desk
My heart is smiling ♥

And - something else to make us smile .....
Send a Card to a Friend Day!
February 7th is the special day and, as cardmakers, it's perfect!
I received an email from Taylored Expressions and loved the idea ~
inking up our stamps, playing with blending brushes, making a card for a friend?

Yes, please!

You can read all about the details here on their blog
as well as link up your cards which is to promote and share joy ♥
In addition to bringing joy to the recipient of the card you put in the mail,
and bless the mailbox of the happy person to receive it,
there is also a chance to win a very generous prize  ↓
For my card, I used the hilariously sweet Big Grumpy - cat stamp and die.
These. sentiment. stamps.
LOL!

I created this card by blended Ranger distress oxide ink in Spun Sugar
To create the backdrop, I used a burlap stencil
and stamped/cut/colored Grumpy Cat with Copic markers.
It's popped up on 3D foam for dimension and I added a few white sequins.

I used the coffee sentiment stamp first
because I know just who will be receiving this card ♥
I'll get it stamped, mailed
and I hope it brings her a big smile!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥
