Hi friends!
I hope you are having a SPOOK-tacular Friday!
We've been super busy with Hurricane Dorian gone by,
school back in session and everything back to normal again!
I finally got a chance to make a few cards,
so I'll be posting them this weekend in 'catch up' order!
This card for the CCEE Stampers weekly challenge: Skyscraper Day!
Frances is the hostess for the month of September
and in honor of Skyscraper Day, asked us to create a TALL card.
My card is exactly that - a tall 8" x 4" tall, spooky neighborhood!
I rarely make or send Halloween cards,
but the moment I saw the Lawn Fawn fall collection release, I was smitten!
And I LOVE stamp sets that allow me to do my favorite type of stamping ...
Making a scene!
For today's tall neighborhood, I started with a base panel of white cardstock
and distressed just the top 1/3 panel with Ranger Ink distress oxides
in Wilted Violet, Faded Jeans and Black Soot.
Next, I created hills and slopes using the CC Designs hill die (ret'd)
and then got to the super duper fun part!
I stamped out the Lawn Fawn spooky houses, trees, trick or treaters
and tombstones from the stamp set
and cut/colored those in Halloween-y colors.
I arranged them in a neighborhood-y kind of way
and then added some speckled dots from a white gel pen.
The last part - white embossed sentiment
and the whole card is popped up on 3d foam from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
This card was a whole lotta fun to make!
I love those little trick-o-treaters so much ♥
I'll enter my card into: Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - stamp it!
Lawn Fawnatics - Make a scene
Addicted to Stamps #357: Make Your Mark!
Thanks for stopping by ...
Have a BOO-tiful day!
Big hugs, bigger blessings! ♥
