Happy Tuesday afternoon!
What a morning! I sadly was not home all day to see that my post did not launch as scheduled, but hopefully you had fun peeking at the DT cards!
My husband brought home a tiny bird that had been blown from it's nest around midnight - on the busy sidewalk in front of our home. Even though the hour was late, we knew it wouldn't have much chance at survival, especially with no trees or nest or mama nearby. My daughter, God bless her, spent a round the clock vigil watching over it and feeding it every hour on the hour with a googled version of emergency 'faux' bird food. We zoomed off to the rescue center this morning to learn he is about 10 days old and has an excellent chance of survival - they will even call us when he's going to be released back into the wild! Isn't that wonderful!
And!!! There is a new challenge is up at the Cornish Heritage Farms! The challenge this week is brought to us by DT Member, Frances and it's a sketch challenge! I went with a nautical theme using this beautiful and simple digi from CHF called Lighthouse Saying.
If you would like to play along with us of course we would love to have you!
To play create a card using CHF images. You can use either CHF digi or rubber stamps to create a card or project.... anything you like as long as the stamps are Cornish Heritage Farms. (Yes, they can be older stamps).
Once you have created your card/project come back here and use inlinkz to link to your card/project so that we can see what you created. If you upload your card/project to SCS please use the keyword CHF53. We can't wait to see what you create!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! The sentiment is perfect for the situation you had with the little bird. Incidentally, We had 3 baby cardinals hatch in a dead plant and the parents were feeding them, but sadly none of them made it past day 10. Glad there is another one that will. Thanks for playing at Cupcake Inspirations! Nance, DT
