HOLLY JOLLY!

 Hey sweet friends!

Today's card is showcasing 2 things:

A huge OOPS!

and The Man in the BIg Red Suit!

This was a fun card to make!

If you would like to see the YouTube version,

here it is:

Because I made a rookie mistake when creating this,

I had to think of ways to save/salvage this poor Santa card!

I used the adorable Stamptember Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous

2023 set ~ cute, cute, CUTE!

.

I loved the background stamp by Hero Arts snowflake swirl

and I stamped it with Pool Party ink.

THEN

I had a misstep with the stamp and forgot it had ink,

set it down on  the panel and had a few Santas on it!

So this is the result!

Merry Grinchmas!

 Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving!

Ours was absolutely amazing ~

in fact, our home is still filled with family :)

It's bittersweet to see them leave but what amazing memories!

I'm on the Crackerbox blog today,

showcasing the adorable green guy himself ~

The Grinch!

I colored him up with my copic markers

and then switched out the sentiment to this one:

Merry Grinch-mas!

He is nestled into a dome die cut panel and the dsp is from a

12 x 12 stack I picked up ~ love those candy cane stripes!

That's what I love so much about these stamps ~

you can mix 'n match and really stretch your creativity and cardmaking.

I hope you were able to get some great

Hey friends!

I'm up on the Crackerbox Stamps blog today :)

Santa will be here in 34 days!

And he's checking in to see if you

Got Cookies?!

This card was so much fun to make!

I started with the adorable Side Santa and Reindeer sm.

and I'm showcasing the cute Santa.

I just love his little peek-a-boo face!

I paired Santa with the sentiment stamp set called

Sign Post Words set of 3, using Got Cookies?

To really make Santa shine, I chose designer paper

with The Nightmare Before Christmas wording.

PINK Christmas!

 Hi friends!

There's a popular trend in holiday cards ~

Pink Christmas!

This week my card challenge group over on Instagram

has a fun theme:

Create a pink themed Christmas card.

Wow!

This was a CHALLENGE for me.

All of the weekly Wednesday challenges are suggested/voted

on by the group and this week the 3rd top highest.

So here's what I created!

Pink is actually one of my least favorite colors (gasp! I know!)

But I do love a good challenge so it. was. on!

I went with simple but whimsical and used

Newton's Nook Designs Candy Cane

paired with pink gingham paper from Lawn Fawn.

I intentionally left the kitty cat white as this is Oliver,

my rescue baby and I'll give this card to his vet for the holidays!

Oh Christmas Tree .........

 Hi friends!

It's that time of year ~ holidays songs and Christmas themes!

Today's card is one I created for a card group I'm in

and the theme was chosen by one of the group members:

Christmas Trees!

I've used an oldie but goodie to create my card.

This is a set from Concord and 9th called Festive Friends.

I adore this stamp set

but think this might be only the 2nd time I've used it.

I used a simple background of patterned paper rather than

create one of my own this time.

It was a great match and just seems to give it that extra drama.

The bold sentiment strips are from CZ Designs and were in my stash.

I personally love her little table topper tree!

So tiny but sweet!

Step aside, coffee!

Hey hey, friends!

Happy Friday!

It'sm 7 am  BUT it's 5 o'clock somewhere! :)

How cheeky is this card!

I'm up on the blog at Crackerbox Stamps today

with this peek inside a cafe - complete with an awning!

I used 2 stamp from Crackerbox Stamps to create this beauty:

Step Aside Coffee

and

Martini Lady

This card is a 6 x 6 and perfect to tuck a gift card inside, too!

To create this card, I used a heavy weight cardstock,

added a pretty pink designer paper and added the stamped images.

Lastly, I added a scalloped border die cut to resemble an awning

at a chic Parisian cafe!

50% off selected stamps!

3M: Frosty Mornings!

 Hi friends!

Cheers!

Coffee is one of my FAVORITE things on the planet!

One of the running jokes in our home is

if anyone is needing a gift for me, I'm a size Venti in Starbucks! :)

Today is the day we (the 3 Musketeers) post our cards

based on an image received, taking turns every 3 months!

Barb, Jeanette and I all have this same image to create a card

and this is what I came up with with Hello Bluebird Frosty Mornings.

This card came out backwards for me!

I always plan my card design and layout first

and then color accordingly.

For this one, I was coloring at my desk and then had to go dig

for paper to (mostly) match what I'd already colored!

Some days are like that, I suppose!

You can see Jeanette's card here

and Barb's card here.

Thankful for YOU!

Hi friends!

Today's set of 5 cards are celebrating Thanksgiving

and the season of Gratitude.

I created these 5 cards using a stamped sentiment set from

Simon Says Stamp, the fall critters from Waffle Flower Crafts

and designer paper from Lawn Fawn.

Each card has a different critter (lucky for me, the set had 5!)

as the challenge theme was: 5 cards of Gratitude.

Here are a couple!

They are humbly simple being that I hastily made

these an hour before the Instagram hop posting time!

I had a set of 5 Halloween cards that I'd created

for a youth group and saying thanks to them with 'boo mail."

But then I realized Halloween had passed us by

and it didn't sit right so I got to work - FAST!

Wishing you all a day filled with thankfulness!

One Plus Twelve - November!

Hey friends!

Today's post is the November edition of

my One Plus Twelve card challenge.

Here is the original post from 2019 when I had this epihpany

and this is my 5th year of this challenge :)

I've mentioned before - and it bears repeating ~

this is my absolute favorite challenge that I do!

For 2023, I am using Waffle Flower Crafts Larkspur ~

a truly unique and beautiful stamp and die set.

Here is my November One Plus Twelve card:

This month, I went with a collage-y style card creation

and sort of channeled my favorite Disney ride:  Haunted Mansion.

I was going for an October-just-ended-haunted-black-and-white vibe

and ended up with this collage style grey, black and white look!

I DID color the flower - LOL!

I went with a grey scale to let the muted collage colors flow.

Since this photo, I did add a pink strip off to the left ~

I'll try to add another photo today :)

I invited my friends Barb and Jeanette to join me

in this adventure in 2019 and I'm happy to share

we'll be returning in 2024 for year 6!

Be sure to check out their cards today
or somewhere near this date :)

Thanks for stopping by!

I used the adorable Cat Sketchy and colored it with copics.

I added on a fun Santa hat and popped it up on foam dots.
