Shark Week! Underwater friends :)

Happy Shark Week 2026!

This is our favorite time of year for shark watch! 

 My son inspired our love of shark week YEARS ago

 and we are still going strong :)

I created a card for the first Lawn Fawn IG card club

hosted by my sweet friend, Melissa.

Of alllllll my lawn fawn stamps, dies + supplies,

I knew I wanted to use Duh-Nuh and You Are Sublime 

to create a fun scene.

        I started with ink blending in 3 blue colors for an ocean scene

and made a ocean shelf/sandbar by popping up the bottom.

And the sharks and friends were colored with my Olomarkers.

                                 IPC challenge, there is a fun 

color palette and inspo photo:

                    I used the colors to create a fun birthday card

for a special someone who has a mischevious orange cat :)

I mixed and matched several designer papers as well

to acheive a fun eclectic look:

3M: Spring Rain!

Hi friends!

                                

                     Today I'm sharing my card for the 3M.

The 3 Musketeers is a card group of Jeanette, Barb and I who

stamp a mystery image, send it to each other 

(Angel Policies apply, so please check those!)

and then we make a card based on that ONE image.

This month, Jeanette sent us this darling image from 

Spellbinders House Mouse Spring Rain.

Thank you, Jeanette!

My card is super simple - I ran out of time with a super busy summer

and missed the due date :(

We are going 900 MPH here and well, done is better than NOT DONE!

And I tried to be fancy with the rain by using a color blender to smoosh 

the ink like water ~ not quite the success I was looking for, LOL!

                      We normally post on the 9th of each month

so check back in August to see what's cookin!

This came together so quickly by using stamps, dies

and fun to use designer paper called Summertime.

To create the backdrop, I used the Heart Frames die set

and the sentiment is die cut with Basic Frames.

The theme for the month of June is friendship!

Here is my card using Spring Heights clear stamps and dies

as well as Basic Frames die set and Circle Frames die set.

There's a lot of color, design and fun going on with this card!

I have NEVER been shy with bright, cheerful colors

and this card is exactly why :)

I used my Staedtler markers to color the images

For my card, it's a coffee theme because .... MONDAY :)

This was such an easy card to come together using the Card 6 layout die

Simon Says Stamp - Release Day "Always There"

 

Hello friends!

It's release day at Simon Says Stamp!

The new release called Always There, 

a delightful collection of florals and cheerful sets

 and we have crafty inspiration to share with you!

Today I'm sharing a summery card using Keep Palm

and it's such a beautiful reminder of the tropics!

Thank you SSS for sending me this to work with!

For this card, I kept it one layer and stamped directly

onto a sunset horizon painted background.

The large floral stamp allow room for a sentiment

to go right into the center or

 you can mix it up with the palms!

I added a belly band made with vellum stamped with the sentiment

from the set using SSS white embossing powder.

3M May ~ Special Delivery!

 Hi friends!

Whew!

Almost didn't make the May 3M + I'm dashing to the fnish line!

(as a marathon runner, insert pun here! 🠉 )

This is the card you would normally have seen on the 9th of the month,

but in addition to traveling, a vacation and losing the stamp 

somewhere in my craftroom, I'm late to my own party!

For May, I chose chose a Crafty Meraki stamp called Special Delivery

and this company has since closed.

I did a hybrid style mixed media card with several elements:

mixing 2 different inks I wouldn't have paired together normally,

added some mixed gold splatter and rice paper tucked behind.
