The Project Bin ~ Heart Hugs!

Oh friends, it's hard to believe in a few hours,
it will be 2019!

I'm thankful to Denise at The Project Bin Stamps,
for giving us time off to be with our families during the holidays :)
Thank you, Denise!

After a refreshing break,
and deep cleaning and organizing the craft desk,
I feel more organized for a successful start to the year.
And I'm getting my cards on!

For today's card, I've used the In My Heart stamp set ~
it's one of my favorites ♥
The sentiments are so heart-warming and oh so sweet!

It was fun to use the F.Y.I. ~ Find Your Inspiration this year
to springboard many of my card ideas ~ like this one!
I created my card by looking at this dress and put paper to paper,
added ink, foam, dies and instant card ♥
I love it when the unexpected things inspire our creativity!

My F.Y.I ~ Find Your Inspiration series
was a wonderful backdrop for a creative year :)
I have something new, fun and different planned for 2019 ~
I'm super excited to share it with you!

You can find this fun stamp/die set that I used for my card
in the shop as well as a view of it here ↓

And one final look!

Thanks for stopping by!
I'll see you next year! :)

Big hugs, bigger blessings!

Happy Birthday, Denise blog hop!

Hi friends!
Today, the designers for The Project Bin have a birthday blog hop
in the style of Mad-Libs!
Mad-libs is a fill in the blanks style of fun
so grab your favorite morning drink and join the celebration!

Once upon a time, a creative and wonderful lady created a fabulous stamp company called The Project Bin
Right away, we were in for a treat!
Her name is Denise and she is so sweet, is super creative
and just make me smile!
Every day, she works hard, spends time with her loving family
 and always thinks of others

  Today is her birthday!

We, her design team, are so delighted to share this day with her
and celebrate this special lady that we are hopping like frogs and

have planned a surprise BLOG HOP today!
So follow the gingerbread crumb trail and

stop at each designer’s blog to see the card they have created for Denise!

I’m the first stop on birthday hop and I am beyond excited!

Denise is an absolute gem and one of the talented designers I know!

I’m feeling delighted to be part of this birthday hop
because birthdays are meant to be celebrated with our loved ones.

Denise, the wish I have for you on your birthday today is
for you to take the time to do something wonderful for yourself as you are always thinking of others and a blessings to those that know you!

It will be fun to see Denise smiling and blowing out candles and eating her cake!

I used the Born Yesterday stamp set to create this card today
and the favorite thing about this stamp set to me is
how versatile it is to make those super fun birthday cards!
I heat embossed the sentiment in pink embossing powder to match
the colors of a walk through a flower garden ♥
Here is the inside:

Denise, I hope you get to celebrate with your loved ones
and squeeze them tight on your special day and make sure to
give yourself a high five!

Your next stop on the hop is Dawn!
You can find her sweet blog Sunnyside Up here!

`Much love!
Big hugs, bigger blessings!

Hello frosty friends!

Hello, friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas
and Santa was good to you!
I'm still wishing for snow ~
so I'm still making snowy, post Christmas cards :)

For this card, I used Frosty Friends by Hello Bluebird stamps.
I went with colors that resembled a gingerbread theme ~
brown with white scallops, a lined frame and cute winter critters!
Here's another look at the card from it's aerial view ↓

  Thanks for stopping by today!
Big hugs, bigger blessings! ♥

Wishing you a BEARY Christmas!

 Hello friends!

Christmas is nearly here and I already know you're on the good list!
I hope your stockings are filled with goodies
and lots of {crafty} toys will be under the tree!
We're baking cookies and Spanish pastries,
filling boxes and taking treats to friends and neighbors :)

I'm sharing a card that I made using "Oh What Fun"
from Lawn Fawn for a simple snowy card!
I keep hoping for snow here in Miami, but so far, only sunshine!

This card is a case of one that I spied here on Instagram
and knew I wanted to create something similar.
I colored/die cut the santa bear and stamped the matching sentiment
with Ranger white embossing powder and heat set it.-
I used the new die-namics blueprints die from MFT
to die cut/frame the sentiment.
The 'snow' was created from another MFT die.
Super simple but I do love how this card came out!

Wishing you all the BEARY best holiday!
I hope you all have wonderful and cherished moments with family,
friends, loved ones ♥

Big hugs, bigger blessings!

3M: Wishing you a METAL Christmas!

Hi friends!

I'm still here!  Oh my goodness, life has been non-stop!
I haven't had any free time to make cards :(
Between Christmas prep, 3 December birthdays, my daughter's college graduation, school, church and Boy Scouts events, we're hopping! :)
Our daughter is back home from college and all moved back in - she's starting her wonderful new job next week, so we've been enjoying so many outings and girl time ♥

Yesterday, I finally got to sit down for a few minutes and work on
my 3 Musketeers challenge card - YAY!
Barb gave us a wonderful challenge: Use Metal!

Barb's challenge:  Since December is busy for all of us, I wanted to send a simpler challenge
and hoped it does not cause too much stress or planning for a card.
The challenge is to make a Christmas Card or a New Year’s card  and make it metallic!
You can use metallic paper or use metallic embellishments or emboss with metallic colors.
Use your creativity to make a shiny card!
  Ready?  Set.  Go!

My card is very simple ~ letting the gold foil paper shine through as an accent
color and highlighting the Happy Christmas!
I added extra metal but putting the silver metal snowflakes
and added the metal gems to the center.
Simple but I do like this card - it's bright and shiny, just like holiday ornaments!

I do love how this came out :)
It's shiny and classic and simple!

What I learned about metallic foils and papers -
they are hard to photograph! :)
You can see Barb's card here and Jeanette's card here.
Can you believe it's almost 2019!
I have a few more cards to post before the end of the year ...
stay tuned! ♥

Thanks for stopping by!
Big hugs, bigger blessings!
