Hey girl!

Hi friends!

Today I have a post for my friend's card group on Instagram!

We are in the 2nd year of this fun group and

  once a month, she randomly

chooses 2 choices of cards from the Color Cubes, both editions.

We can chose either card as a springboard to create.

I chose card #107 from the choices:

the vibrant plums and fushias were calling me!

I used the Simon Says Stamp Tucked Hearts stamp

and embossed with gold accents for a POP

and Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors to build up the bold colors.

I also added a simple die cut Hey Girl! to the front :)

Inky Paws Challenge - Week 3

 Hi friends!

It's Week 3 of the Newton's Nook Designs

THere is a quick video:

This week, I'm celebrating St. Patrick's Day with

Newton's Lucky Clover stamp and die set.

I stamped and die cut Newton and colored the images

 with my Olo markers

and built a little fun card using tartan!

That's actually Christmas paper but doubles as a fun dupe for Irish plaid!

A peek at the inspo photo:

Love spending time with you!

Hi friends!

Today I have a card share for a themed IG card group.

I have a short video as well with a super sped up

version of this being made -

30 minutes shoved into 1 minute, LOL!

Lots of splicing and speeding up!

For this card, I used my Staedtler Pigment Art Pens

and just love how vibrant they are!

They blend easy and have so much richness to their colors!

I used Love Is In The Air from Simon Says Stamp,

such a fun set!

Color Me Happy + 3M = A Bit Of Spring

Hi friends!

Today's card is pulling a 'double decker duty" today!

For my monthly series of using ONE stamp, 12 different coloring

mediums called

 Color Me Happy!

I am using the same stamp, different mediums.

The stamp I chose for this fun series is Gina K Designs

A Bit Of Spring.

ANNNNNNNNNNNNND

the same one that is this month's 3M - 3 Musketeers - stamp.

Barb is the sender this month of our mystery image

and since I own this stamp, and had it done for March,

I'm adding it for both :)

But that will be our secret *shhhhhhh*

For my card, the markers/medium I used this month are Olo markers.

I'm fairly new to Olos and only have 2 full sets but they are SO NICE!

I also used a metallic shiny background from Lawn Fawn

designer paper and added Altenew gold cardstock to match.

I also added a honeycomb border die cut from Sizzix

just to add a little drama

(and the gold inserts were what inspired the motivational cards

on the previous blog post!)

Finished off with some gold gems and a sentiment strip -

I am really happy with how this turned out!

You can see Barb's card here and

Jeanette's card here, either today or when posted!

Be sure to stop by next month to see what medium

I use for April! :)

Turning water into wine!

Well, not exactly :)

But I did turn tiny scraps of paper and cardstock

into motivational cards!

CLICK HERE 🠓 to see it in action!

With just a few dies, leftover paper and cardstock cuts,

I created these fun inspirational cards.

With thoughts of my running friends,

I picked sentiments that were Go Get It themed!

And all this started from a small gold hexagon!

I had them leftover from a card when I used the

outer honeycomb die cut and challenged myself to use them

in a creative way.

I hope this inspires you in a small way

to be creative with even the small bits!
