The ProCRAFTinator's Club - March!

  Hi friends!

Today's card share is for

~ The ProCRAFTinator's Club ~

where a group of us friends share our projects

made from a kit, class, camp or retreat!

This idea came from chatting with friends

and how so many of us are proCRAFTinating on our classes,

camps and kit/subscription boxes!

All those kits, past and present, online classes and camps ~

We're dustin' them off and creating :)

For this month, I didn't have to go far.

Concord and 9th just had their Winter camp

and one of the classes taught by Meghan Andrew

was a beautiful layered die cut floral card.

This card is not my own design but from the class.

I did switch up the colors of the cardstock and added a banner

sentiment rather than stamp the card directly

and popped up a few of the sprigs of florals.

I loved this card so much for the women mommies in my life!

I am planning to make several more in their favorite colors

for Mother's Day :)

Thanks for stopping by!

3M ~ Happy Snowman!

Hi friends!

It's time for the March 3 Musketeers debut!

And it's CHILLY 'round here!

Not ... actually ROUND here.

I'm in Florida .... it's quite HOT!

Here is where you can see what the 3M is all about.

My card took quite the detour this round

so I'm guessing Chilly wanted to stay a little longer

with Jeanette, our hostess this month 💙

She sent the 3 of us this adorable Penny Black snowman

stamped image and this is my take!

It's sooo simple - just fussy cutting and pretty paper!

I did add a sentiment to my card and this one is from Mftstamps

called Snow Buddies.

You can see Jeanette's card here

and Barb's card here!

I'll be up next month so be sure to come back

and see what April will be!

Thanks for stopping by!

Secret Stamp Challenge!

Hi friends!

There's a new lil something to share today ~

and the secret is out of the box!

Some months ago, I found a pack of 4 brand new

Hanna Stamps clear stamp sets bound together at the thrift store.

I could hardly believe my eyeballs!

They are a company that has long been gone from the industry

and I'm grateful for whomever donated them for someone to love.

Since there were 4, I immediately set aside the French Parisian one

for my sweet friend in Paris (scroll to bottom to see all 4!)

That left 3 more and I had the idea to send 2 of them to

Jeanette and Barb, reminiscing of the days we'd sent a mystery supply

to each other and create something out of it.

Based on the 3 left, I chose

*the motorcycle girl for Jeanette (she rode back in the day!)

the gardening girl for Barb (it reminded me

of her greenhouse she has adjacent to her home),

and by default - and the only one left - I got the maid, ROFL!

And finally, here's my card:

I confess I drew a blank!

I just couldn't figure out what to do with this image

and ended up with a cas card.

This sentiment though ... 😆😆😆

Here are Barb's card and Jeanette's cards

and finally, the 4 together :)

This was a lot of fun!

Thank you Barb and Jeanette for joining me

in this fun adventure!

Carnival Fair!

Hi friends!

Today we're heading to the county fair! 😃

This week, my Wednesday card group

 - Cards For All Seasons -

has a fun theme of carnivals!

That could be anywhere from a literal carnival, county fair,

to Mardi Gras and carnivals in other countries.

We even included masks, masquerades, ticket stubs or big tops

and even just fun carnival colors ~ and hopefully this inspires you, too!

I created a Fun Fair with carnival rides in honor of my 4 kids 💚

Their schools always had a fun festival every spring

after the standardized testing period ended as way to celebrate

months of preperation and studying and test taking.

It was always grand and I made sure to always run one of the booths,

which we also made from scratch!

For this cheerful card, I used 2 different Lawn Fawn stamps:

Admit One and Coaster Critters.

The background is blended with my distress inks

and I colored it with prismacolor markers.

Spring is here! It's smell AWFUL!

Hey friends!

Today I'm sharing a hilarious card for my friend Geeta's

Giggle Group!

I have been on a major purge and while destashing my stamps,

found some that I'd forgotten that I had.

This Big Grumpy from Taylored Expressions has been with me for years.

I had so much fun sorting through the accesories stamps,

like Easter and Halloween!

I used the flower pot from the Easter set

and ended up taking the potted plant

and trimming it so I'd have just the flowers.

Grumpy is sitting in a garden!

Thanks for stopping by!

1 + 12 Thrives in '25: March

' Hi friends!

First, hi dad - missing you today so very much 💔

I'm sharing a card for my favorite series ever:

One Plus Twelve: Thrives in '25 .

This year, I chose a floral stamp set from Alex Syberia Designs

collab for Stamptember called Close At Heart.

The idea?

Take one stamp - and ONLY one stamp - and use it

once a month in creative ways, hence, 1 + 12 .

For March, I found a beautiful sheet of dsp with bright fun colors.

I stamped directly onto the dsp and just let it be the star of the show.

The background is a debossed aqua cardstock

I rounded the corners for a little extra oompf.

I'm still recovering and just have ZERO mojo

or energy physically or mentally ....

Maybe next month, I'll be back with some Va Va Voom!

My friends are joining me again  this challenge this year

and you can see  Jeanette's card and Barb's card on their blogs.

Thanks for stopping by 💚

Celebrating Read Across America week!

Hi friends!

Today's card share is celebrating the love of BOOKS!

I just ADORE this set from Lawn Fawn called Little Woodland Library!

My son built a community Little Library as part of his Eagle Scout project

and it's been a wonderful 'hit' in the nieghborhood!

He chose a spot at a center for local Veterans and it's close to

not one, not two but THREE elementary schools in the area.

I love seeing the moms pushing strollers or kids on bikes

riding up and choosing/trading books!

Very proud mama 💗

So naturally when I saw this set released

 INTO.  THE.  CART!

I followed a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches 675

as a base for this card

and just had so much fun adding the critters and books

to make a wonderful reading inspired card.

Colored with my prismacolor markers :)
