Hi, it's me! 👋
Playing in the trash again!
My card is using the box from the set of Island markers
from Altenew for a recycled card hop.
My friend Dawn saw a card I made on Instagram that I upcycled
from a thrifted book & asked if I wanted to co-host a group with her.
Sure!
I do love a RECYCLE thrift flip!
You can see the video here !
And my card ⇓
Hi friends!
It's time for the monthly 3M (3 Musketeers) card share!
This is a group with 3 friends (Barb, Jeanette and I)
that take turns sending a mystery stamped image to create a card.
I'm sorry for the delay and posting so late in the day ~
my laptop was over at my daughter's house :)
This month, Barb sent us this Newton's Nook Designs
stamped image called Newton's Kite.
I colored my kitty to look like my Oliver!
I created a background of colorful clouds with a stencil and ink blending.
The frames are from the-basket-on-my-desk file.
It's quite ....... overflowing TBH!
Be sure to see what Barb and Jeanette have created as well!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi friends!
Happy May!
Today I'm sharing my monthly card for my
card series: One Plus Twelve
and this is the 7th year of this challenge
where I take 1 stamp and use it 12 times,
one for each month.
For 2025,
I chose Close At Heart, a collab stamp and die
from Alex Syberia and Simon Says Stamp.
This was released during their Stamptember celebration
and I can't tell you how much I adore it!
I took my Concord and 9th ink cubes (from the Winter Camp)
and matching cardstocks to create this card.
With the ink cubes, I swiped them directly onto cardstock,
let it dry and stamped onto the background.
Taking matching cardstock colors, I layered them diagonally
in a coordinating color pattern and die cut the entire panel together.
The sentiment is also from the Close At Heart set
and perfect for many occasions.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi friends!
Today I'm sharing a card for a monthly card group
where we have a theme to follow and a card to create
The theme was: Celebrate the women in our lives,
be it a mom, grandmother, daughter, sister, etc.
I chose my mama!
She was a seamstress for 50+ years, self taught
with a hand-me-down Singer from a thrift store.
She would make our baby clothes and most of my dresses
growing up, including matches for my dollies!
I did NOT inherit that gene.
I can't sew in a straight line, not by machine or hand!
My oldest daughter - HOLY SMOKES, the talent.
BUT!
I can make cards, LOL!
with a BINGO theme:
I used whimsical, mice, bright, markers and cardstock!
Thanks for stopping by!
