Disney and a Peace 'n Quiet card :)

Helllllo blogging friends!  Happy Monday to you! :)  We are home from Disney and had an absolute fabulous time, albeit a short getaway.   We are so blessed to live close enough to hop over for the weekend and we enjoyed every second of lil man's birthday weekend - his face was just as priceless as can be because he knew we were celebrating HIM.   On every ride, I would shout out over the noise "Happy Birthday, T!" - except Space Mountain was in the middle of a drop so it sounded something like "Happy Birthyeeeeeeawwwwwwwwomgoooooooooooooooosh!" ;)  Dh asked him several times if he was having fun and his answer?  "Of course! I'm in Disney World!"   That pretty much says it all :)

Disney and Peace 'n Quiet?   I know, quite the oxymoron!  LOL!  Actually the P 'n Q is from my card - I bought this Penny Black stamp when it was first released - I knew I *had* to have it!  It's perfect for memories of my past (brother!) and my wee one's now.  I didn't get the chance to ink it up til this past week.

I remember trying to set up a toy section for lil man on the dining room table but wanted him to be surprised - so the only thing I thought of was to tell my oldest daughter that I was going to send him down the hall to her room.  I told her to keep an eye out for him and to entertain him until I called for him.  She gave me a wink and a "cool!" and then I told him something I won't soon forget - just playing around.  She came down the hall a few seconds later and asked "what did you say to him?  He's all sad and distraught!  He said "Mommy said to get out of her hair for a little while, but I don't know why - I wasn't anywhere near her head!"   Oooooooops!  Yes, I felt SO VERY BAD!  That was one of those mommy-isms that you wish you could rewind and can't ;)  Well, I had that fiasco in mind when creating this lil card!

And that was our happy little weekend!  It's good to be home even though the week ahead looks like I'll need a personal planner just to get through it all!

Thanks for stoppin' by!

 Big hugs,
Bigger Blessings!
~Kelly
