Hi there, your card is adorable, I love the bright and crispness of the colors together. That reindeer is so cute.
ReplyDeleteI think your card looks great and you covered the oops just fine :) I know it can be tough, but you always seem to take things with smile on your face no matter what.
ReplyDeleteAccident or not I LOVE that flower you added! Just gives the card a totally pretty and cute look. Love that DP you used too. Wonderful card.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet. Beautiful coloring too. I think your mojo is in high gear! This is a terrific, fun holiday card!
ReplyDeleteSometimes our mistakes turn into great designs.
Socket, I love it! And he's colored so beautifully! Your flowers look like they were always planned to be there! Don't you just hate that split second of 'OH! NO!' before you figure out how to fix it... Good thing there is always room for embellishment!! Fabulous card!!
ReplyDeleteYour card is so sweet! Thanks for sharing your blunder! I would have never noticed the flower looks like it belongs! If I posted every time I blundered a project I think I would have to start another blog! My number one blunder... Adhering the card base upside down! Yup so the card opens the wrong way!

I always worry that if a recipient decides to take apart my card at all the mistakes they will find!! You covered yours beautifully! Cute little reindeer-love the colors you used!!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just hate when your mojo is a no~go? This is absolutely delightful! Your flower is the perfect embellie and a perfect cover up!
ReplyDeleteThis is a cute one, Kelly. I am right there with you. I am trying to catch up with my visits, but still no mojo. Love when a booboo turns into a great embellie!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty for a mojo-less crafter! But I do know what you mean. I've been there and had DT assignments due! Very hard to create. Love the colors in this.
ReplyDeleteI also took a little break the last days. Sometimes you need it. These bright colors gives me a smile. Beautiful christmas card.
ReplyDeletePS: I see sun in the background. Can you send some sunshine to Germany ?? HUGS !!
I think the flower accent is cute - perfect save for your card! And I love how bright and cheery it is too! :)
ReplyDeleteWOW--you made a blunder? I thought only I did that!
ReplyDeleteCute card--I love the image and the colors!
Ok, Kells, your blunders are post-worthy. Mine, not so much! LOL This is adorable and should really brighten up someone's holiday.

ReplyDeleteI think it turned out great! Love the untraditional christmas colors and the cute image. Thanks for joining us at Papertake Weekly :)
ReplyDeleteIf you hadn't shown your blunder, I would never have guessed that there was anything "wrong" with your card. Everything turned out perfectly!! What a sweet little image - and the finished product just goes to show that rough times end up paving the way to something beautiful!!
ReplyDelete(And I'm trying NOT to break the 10th commandment as I look at the sunny photo with all those green leaves in the background. Enjoy your weather for me!!)
