Okay, my REAL reason for posting is today is the bi-weekly challenge at the Riley and Company blog with a twist! Literally, a Twisted Tuesday sketch ;)
Here is the sketch I used for my card ...... totally not happy with it at all, but as the old adage goes, it is what it is ;)
Our hostess at Riley and Company this week is Joy who challenged us to create a card using text paper from a book, newspaper or a type/print DSP! I chose this MME dsp with newsprint on it to match the Wagon Riley stamp, sentiment on the inside to match ;) The gorgeous big material flower was added to mimic the sketch design and was a leftover from a card kit from my friend, LJ! Now if you link up your cards to a gallery other than the R & Co blog, please use keyword0912.

We would love to see you create with this sketch -- be sure to link up your
cards to the 2TT blog here!

Big Hugs,
Bigger Blessings!

ReplyDeleteReally cute Kelly! The inside sentiment is perfect for this card.
ReplyDeleteA 3 hour bus trip definitely needs coffee, but if I drank this before such a trip we'd be needing more than one toilet stop too....lol. I think your card and take on the sketch is wonderful Kelly. I love the pop of colour from the big polka dot flower and buttons, and as always Riley is adorable.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable!! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE red wagons!!! I use to take my two little ones on walks every day through my old neighbourhood. My husband bought one red for them in the States and brought it to Argentina. You couldn't find them there. I was the lady with the red wagon in the neighbourhood. When we decided to come to Canada I did a garage sale and they fought for it, I was sad to sell it but couldn't bring it and here they are so popular, they are everywhere!!!. GOOD memories... LOVE your card!!!
ReplyDeleteKelly, this is super cute. I like the background paper !
ReplyDeleteHopefully the bus ride wasn't oo bad...the things we do for our kids! lol
ReplyDeleteLove your card Kelly nice cheery colours.
3 hour bus rides without Starbucks???? Are you kidding me???? Is this possible???? :)
