Alleluia, He is Risen!

"The Angel said to the women,
"Don't be afraid! I know you are looking for Jesus,
who was nailed to the cross.  He isn't here!
God has raised him to life, just as Jesus said he would."
~Matthew 28:5-6

Blessings upon you this beautiful Easter!
Today is the day that the Crafters of Faith post our cards with a chosen theme.  Our hostess this month, Jeanette, asked us to create
a religious-themed Easter card .. No Easter chickies and bunnies or anything that focuses on the 'cute' side of Easter but rather the focus on the Risen Lord.  AMEN to that!

I do have a few SU! stamp sets specifically for Easter but I didn't want to go against her wishes, so I happily inked up my cross stamp from Unity that's been in my stash for forever.  I even started out with a completely different card base and paper and nothing would work right and I'm still not happy with this one, but we've been out all day and I had to get this posted like it or not as I didn't have time to make a new one!
I did add the Easter sentiment to the inside of the card and kept the colors
similiar through-out.  I'm sorry, Jeanette, I tried! :)

Please be sure to stop by the Crafters of Faiths blogs - you can find them in my sidebar.

Many blessings to you on this most holy day!

Big hugs, Bigger Blessings!
~Kelly

  3. Oh, Kelly... I don't know a nice way to tell you this, so I'll be brutally blunt! YOU NEED TO SEE AN EYE DOCTOR!

For some reason you kept apologizing about your card - which is quite a beautiful card! So the only thing I can figure out is you must have some eyesight issues going on. :/

Truthfully, I love your card... that cross is gorgeous, the color scheme is perfect, the layout nice... and wow! I love the verse inside! What's not to love about this card, in fact.

So, take two aspirin and call the eye doctor in the morning. ;)

BTW, I'm glad we're friends... and sisters in Christ! You make me smile! ♥ you!!!
