I can't believe we are almost in October!
This is such an incredibly busy time of year for us - with the kids schools full speed ahead, extra curricular activities and the promise of a beautiful Fall filled with Harvest events, we're blessed!
hosted by Julia Dunnit over at Stamping Ground. It's wonderful to see the posts all around the globe and peek at different crafts in progress! It's hugely embarrassing to have a messy, messy desk but I've been short on time! Keeping up with the house is a must, my craft room not so much :)
Here's a peek at my current card in progress ~
House Mouse "Candy Corn Treats"!
And the inside of my card ...
And my completed card, heading off next month to my very best friend!
Her birthday happens to land on Halloween - yep, October 31st!
She has never liked her birthday falling on Halloween so I went with a cuter version with these little Trick 'o Treaters.
I love all things Fall, too, so we have only Harvest into our home
rather than the spookier side ;)
That's a wee trip around my craft desk and card for today!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I'll enter this card into the House Mouse HMFMC154
Challenge "monochromatic"
and the Simon Says Stamp challenge to use a product from their store,
and Die Cuttin Divas ~ colors of Fall
Big hugs, Bigger Blessings!
~Kelly

Love those little mice. What a great card. Love the fall colors.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly! Thank you so much for your visit earlier - nice to meet you! I so agree with you about Halloween. I love what we in the UK call Autumn and you call Fall: leaves, mists and fruits, but I'm not much of a spooky girl! I love where you went with your friend's card! The colours are gorgeous and those little mice are adorable. Do drop by again. I have an American pen-friend who goes to the University of Miami and she sometimes drops in on my blog too!
ReplyDeleteOh Kelly... your card is ADORABLE! I love the fun image (though they are very popular, I'm not usually a fan of the House Mouse, etc. variety, but this one is too cute)... and what a beautiful choice of papers and layout, etc.
ReplyDeleteI agree - adorable. I've never been a big house mouse fan, but even *I* got a big smile on my face when I saw the candy corn mousie.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!

Welcome to WOYWW Kelly, you can kiss goodbye to your Wednesdays now, lol! Love the card, I have a lot of HM stamps in my craft room, for some reason I have hardly used them this year! I love Autumn too, don't do Halloween so all my decorations are for the season too. Fresh oranges from your yard sound wonderful!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! I love the House Mouse card. So cute and such a great coloring job. I love how you decorated up the inside of the card as well. That area is so often ignored! Great overview photo of your desk, we can really see all the great harvest colors you have out. It makes me wonder if hubby and I will trek out to the pumpkin farm again this year or not. People gave us funny looks like "you've lost your kids" but we are the kids. Shows what they know.
ReplyDeleteKelly, How precious. Awesome coloring as usual and of course the inside of your card....beautiful!
