Hi friends!
I am catching back up again from a VERY busy 2 weeks!
My son has kept me hopping - and jumping, and limping, LOL!
His Boy Scout troop has been very active with activies,
camping, hiking ~ including the 2nd leg of a 10 mile hike ... gasp!
AND, his drama troupe had their rehearsals, succesful Variety Show,
and districts of which all the kids did a fantastic job!
We just learned he scored Superiors ~ woohoo!
I was so lucky to buy some of the stamps and dies at MFT's
retirement sale and am inking them up and making cards!
Oh. the. joy!
When I saw the color challenge for this week,
I immediately (while driving) planned out the card in my mind.
It came together just as I hoped it would!
After all, bears can be yellow-ish and foxes can be pink-ish, right?!
tee hee!
First, I used my Tim Holtz Distress Oxide broken china ink ...
oxide over distress because I knew I'd add water droplets.
Then I added a piece of gingham dsp for the grass,
stamped out the trees and woodland friends onto #110 cardstock.
While I normally don't use such a heavyweight cardstock in the Cuttlebug,
I knew I needed one to stand up being popped up on 3d foam.
Colored these cuties with my prismacolor markers, and lastly,
added a heat embossed sentiment on black cardstock for contrast.
I love this card so much, I made 3 more with different critters
and some of the other sentiments ♥
The *quad* photo will be over on my Instagram later today!
Here is the color challenge for the week ~
I'll link my card up to MFT challenge 80.
This is a busy week on my blog so I'll be back
with more paper goodness!
Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥
~Kelly
