Hi friends!
Today is the premiere of a new series
I'll be attempting doing this year ~
Color Me Happy!
This series will be a year long coloring exploration of
all the mediums that I have - from markers to colored pencils.
In order to give a true view of how much I like/love each one,
I am using the same stamp, different mediums.
The stamp I chose for this fun series is Gina K Designs
A Bit Of Spring.
January: Prismacolor Markers!
They are vastly my most reached for marker!
Why I like them?
* Longevity - I have had them for YEARS.
* Saturation - they blend and cover a stamped image
and layer beautifully.
* Alcohol-based - blendable colors that don't bleed!
Some markers go way outside the stamped line
and that's a deal breaker for me. Prismacolors stay put :)
to incorporate my love of upcycling in crafts.
I'll be back in February with another medium, same stamp!
Thanks for stopping by!
~Kelly

Kelly, I love your idea for the Color Me Happy series and will look forward to seeing what you make each month. This card has set the bar high - it is absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to experiment and use all the wonderful items in the craft space! I can't wait to see what you do with this one stamp. Thanks for the inspiration and beautiful card. ReplyDeleteThanks for breaking in the New Year with Edna and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
Kelly, I like so many things about your card and your post itself- your coloring, and review of Prismacolor Markers (I'm in the market for new ones so this is timely!), your new series (can't wait to see all the variety you get with this one stamp) and your upcycling (which I also value!) Thanks so much for entering it into the Path of Positivity (POP) Challenge. We hope to see you back again soon! Kathy A
