Hi friends!
I created a card for an Instagram hop called Just One Color ...
and the color for March is red.
When I think of red, I think of
Christmas, Valentines, Taylor Swift (let's go RedTV!)
But this is like .......... March.
I tried to thunk ~ and thunk some more ~ on a card idea
but in the end just couldn't wrap my head around one!
So I grabbed my supplies to just play.
I stamped, die cut, ink blended and watercolored
and put it all together to create something.
And it was kinda neat!
Until ...
I looked at it and said that literally looks like Cherry Pie!
And now I cannot unsee it, LOL!
Introducing Cherry Pie Butterfly!
I even sugar dusted the wings :)
I added a second butterfly underneath to give it
structure and more dimension.
I'm glad I did ~ I think it gives it extra beauty.
Have a cherry-licious day!
Happy April!
March FLEW by in a blur
and here's to a blooming new month!
Today I'm sharing my monthly card for my
card series: One Plus Twelve
and this is the 7th year of this challenge
where I take 1 stamp and use it 12 times,
one for each month!
{ Click here! }
For 2025, I chose Close At Heart, a collab stamp and die
from Alex Syberia and Simon Says Stamp.
This was released during their Stamptember celebration
and I can't tell you how much I adore it!
I colored it with prismacolor markers and added a little touch
of gold and vellum for a little extra drama :)
My friends are joining me again this challenge this year
and you can see Jeanette's card and Barb's card on their blogs.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hey friends!
Today I'm sharing a card for the FAN-tastic card group
on Instagram where fans of Simon Says Stamp
post our monthly cards.
The theme is always Anything Goes unless it's September
and then we showcase any STAMP-tember set :)
It has turned into quite a wondeful FAN-mily!
I've barely been home and running in too many different directions
and quite honestly, barely had time to throw a card together :(
I reached into my scraps pile where I found these die cut strips
and created a few background panels.
I LOVE this die cut from Simon Says Stamp and CZ Design ~
totally something my son says, LOL!
I die cut that from gold cardstock and layered white underneath,
purposely peeking it out just a smidge for a tiny border.
For the first panel, I messed up the placement.
Sadly, it was glued!
So once I peeled it back off, rather than toss the panel,
I just cut smaller hearts from what was salvagable.
Ta-da!
Finally, the sentiment is from Shine Bright clear stamp set.
I felt like it needed a little something something and rolled with it!
Hi friends!
Happy Friday!
Today I have a card to share featuring the adorable
Whimsy Stamps bunnies.
Be sure to see the youtube unboxing here
and a CUTE shorts here!
↓
My card features the cutest bunnies from Whimsy Stamps
and they are Bunnies in the Garden.
I colored them with prismacolor markers
& added them to a background of the Fabulous Florals paper pack.
The frame around the bunnies in the flower garden
is the Mix & Match Marquee die set.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi friends!
Today's card share is for
~ The ProCRAFTinator's Club ~
where a group of us friends share our projects
made from a kit, class, camp or retreat!
This idea came from chatting with friends
and how so many of us are proCRAFTinating on our classes,
camps and kit/subscription boxes!
All those kits, past and present, online classes and camps ~
We're dustin' them off and creating :)
For this month, I didn't have to go far.
Concord and 9th just had their Winter camp
and one of the classes taught by Meghan Andrew
was a beautiful layered die cut floral card.
This card is not my own design but from the class.
I did switch up the colors of the cardstock and added a banner
sentiment rather than stamp the card directly
and popped up a few of the sprigs of florals.
