Happy Birthday, Denise ~ Blog Hop!

Hi friends

Today's blog post is a FUN one!

Today's post is a birthday blog hop for Denise at The Project Bin!
The Design Team is hopping along today to
celebrate this wonderful lady on her special day

Denise is the owner and creative genius
behind this amazing stamp line :)
Her stamps are zany and funny
and there are stamps and sentiments for all occasions ...
from the ones that make you split your sides laughing
to ones that make you sentimental and all warm and fuzzy!

I've been on her design team since the onset
and it's been an absolutely awesome-sauce 'job'

Here is my card using one of my favorite stamp sets:

I used some fun patterned papers from Illustrated Faith
and let the image be the focal point of the card
and just love that this is as cheerful as Denise always is!

Here's the stamp set:

Here is the entire hop list if you'd to see
what we've created for her:

And that's it for me!
To keep hopping, next up is the talented Dawn's blog
as she's next up in the hop :)

I'm so happy you stopped by today!

Happy Birthday, Denise!
I'm wishing you all the wonderful things today :)

Big hugs, bigger blessings :)

Day #2! Beach Day!

Hi friends!

It's day #2 in my summer
"5 days of ..."
and I'm continuing on with

The Alphabet Game!
So let's jump right in!

Before making this card,
random integer selected another letter for me and it's letter M!

Wow, I have a lot of stamps from companies that start with the letter M!
To narrow it down, I selected the stamps that haven't seen ink
(as per the intention of this series)
like this one from My Favorite Things called Beach day (now ret'd)
It features the Pure Innocence little girl ready for the beach!

After coloring, die cutting this image, I popped it up
on 3d foam for depth.
It's also already in the mail,
heading off as happy mail from the sunshine state!

Thanks for your visit today!
Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥

Bible Journaling with The Project Bin!

I did it!  I did it!

I had two crafty goals set for myself in 2016:
Watercoloring (as you may have seen in this post!) which still makes me swoon!
I am absolutely in my glory when I get to sit and paint ♥
And my other creative goal was to start in bible journaling,
a fad that has taken off like crazy in the crafting world.
It's such a wonderful way to combine faith and creativity,
reading and journaling The Word.

Let me start by saying,
I'm a novice :)
Like I'm not even baby steppin' - I'm still crawling!  LOL!
But, that's what I love so much about the process of creativity -
just roll up your sleeves, grab some brushes and pens and just have at it!
I have a long way to go, yes.
And I'm okay with that
and look forward to the year ahead to enhance my bible journaling skills.

So, here is my first attempt at making a faith based coloring page!

I was beyond blessed to receive this NIV Journal the Word bible for free
from Zondervan Publishing for a review.
It is heavenly!  It has a simply gorgeous cover,
delicate pages and ample journaling space,
which as you can see here I just kept it simple with some doodle flowers
and leaves and an expressive yet bold sentiment stamp from
The Project Bin stamps,
the #bff stamp set!

I'm not overly familiar with the book of Hosea,
and this is just where I happen to land to give this a try!
What a wonderful way to read along while coloring and stamping ..
what wasn't familiar before, can be!

Please be sure to stop in over at The Project Bin
and see the many stamps they have for cards, scrapbooking,
bible journaling and so much more!

Big hugs, bigger blessings!
~Kelly

I'll add my card to these challenges:
