Hi friends!

If you have or ever had an ORANGE CAT

you'd totally get this card's pun, LOL!

For this month's Newton's Nook Designs

IPC challenge, there is a fun

color palette and inspo photo:

I used the colors to create a fun birthday card

for a special someone who has a mischevious orange cat :)

I used:  Naughty Newton clear stamps

Naughty Newton die set

Basic Frames die set

Circle Frames die set

I mixed and matched several designer papers as well

to acheive a fun eclectic look:

Springtime, Happy Easter, and Coffee Shop paper pads.

Head over here to link up your card using NND products

and you could be the random winner

of a $20 store credit to do some shopping!

Toe beans in the sand! IPC #252

 Hi friends!

We're back from vacay!

We had SO MUCH FUN +

it's hard to come back to reality after a week of bliss! :)

Speaking of serene beaches and blissful days,

here's Newton with the May IPC sketch for week 3.

You still have time to play along!

And here's the sketch!

I took a little creative liberty with this sketch ~

remember you can flip them,
make them horizontal, etc!

I took the middle broad ban and dropped it to the bottom

Instead of the larger vertical rectangle, I used the

Circle Frames die set and created a rising sun!

Finally, Newton is the final square and the banner is the row of shells.

I made this for my beautiful daughter

who made our amazing trip happen!

We have memories that will live on forever <3

Remember to link up your cards HERE

using your favorite NND products.

The challenge rules are here so you can see how to win

a $20 store credit to shop for your favorite NND goodies!

Inky Paws Challenge - Week 4!

 Happy Monday!

It's week 4 of the Newton's Nook Designs

Inky Paws Challenge.

Here is the color inspiration photo:

Earlier this month, I created a card using small scraps

of cardstock and these are the continued leftovers!

I really love trying to find a use for the pieces

instead of throwing them away

so this was a definitely a creative process.

I glued the strips together onto white cardstock

and then stamped Dainty Daisies clear stamp

onto the cardstock with white ink.

I die cut it out using the coordinating die

including a second 'branch' which I tucked behind.

I popped it up on a vellum circle die cut and classic back and white card,

die cut with the Basic Frames die set.

I got back from a trip and ended up sick

(nothing like a souvenier!)

so I added a quick sentiment to turn this into a Get Well Card.

The sentiment stamp is from Naughty Newton.

Here is the card the extra strips were from

and snowflakes and created a sending you joy card.

This is one of my FAVORITE Newton's Nook Designs stamp sets!

This is Holiday Post clear stamp set and matching outline die.

I paired it with the 6 x 6 patterned paper pad Christmas Time.
