October Kit-Cat! :)

Happy October!

Can you believe it's already Fall?! This month the Kit-Cat Club was hosted by the lovely Lorie! She chose a frame for us to alter and she sent us a wooden frame, double sided dsp to chose from, some ribbon, beautiful sparkly buttons, a glue stick, nail file & ribbon to play with! It was soo much fun altering this beautiful wooden frame. And yes, I am the underachiever this month!! LOL! Wait til you see the other Kit-Cats have made for you to feast your eyes on - jaw dropping!!!!!!

Typically, I'm not a Halloween person (though I do let the kiddies go out in our neighborhood dressed up) so I went for more of a Fall/Harvest feel. Since my son took off with the lovely black ribbon Lorie provided, I had to improvise and make a ribbon with the dsp and added some wild wasabi & twine that I had leftover :) I did a small paper-piecing to the cute Peachy Keen jack-o-laterns to turn them into punkins & added the first picture I grabbed (from 3 YEARS AGO, lol) with a punkin that we were just picked up.

Please make sure to stop by and see
and feast your eyes on some gorgeous Halloween delights!

Thanks for stoppin' by today! *Hugs!*

  1. Oh, Kelly, you are NOT an underachiever!!! Your frame is too cute! I love that it is fall themed - how clever of you to turn those jack-o-lanterns into pumpkins!! And your "bow" is ingenious! How smart to make it out of double-sided paper! I love how you put the dark frame around the opening (is that a nestie?) Who am I kidding? I love everything about your altered frame!!!

  3. Underachiever?!! Whatever!! This is great, Kel!!! I love the paper bow. That's so creative, and the button and ribbon tails are fantastic additions to it! I love the multiple framing you've done, too, and paper piecing the Jack O'Lantern was a fantabulous idea. What a super picture of your kids! Just wonderful, my friend!!
