Good morning to all ~ I hope today brings you many blessings :) I'm so lucky today is my turn to post to the crafting blog at Deedee's digis ~ that's always a treat! My card for you today is using her brand new set "It's a Boy!", a charming set of six digis for only $3.00!
A wonderful friend of mine recently learned that the first grandbaby-to-be that her son and daughter-in-law are expecting is a sweet baby boy! I was so excited to have this set to use, and new right away that I wanted to use the "triple threat" sketch pattern (I am searching frantically to remember where I saw that sketch to link to the blog for proper accolades!) Originally I was leaning towards an all blue card, but the Sweet Always colors of the dsp just jumped out at me. (and the chance to use the new Marina Mist proved to be too much!) I added three of the images that come with this set "faux screening" them to the onesie, which is the beauty of digis ~ the ability to layer! The onesies are propped up on 3D dots, although it's a little hard to see :)
Blessings!
~Kelly

ReplyDeleteAwwwww! Could this be any cuter? Yes it can!! It can when it's sitting right next to me IRL!! When I came home and found this adorable card in the mail, I was thrilled!! It is so sweet and special. The patterned paper onesies, and beautiful background panels are so perfect together, and all the special details, punched edges, and the beautiful ribbon bring this one over the top! I LOVE THIS CARD, and proudly display it where everyone can see it! My first grandma card!!! Thanks also for the wonderful baby boy paper pad. I've already put some of that to good use, and there's a baby album calling my name and asking for THAT paper!!
