Tiny Valentines ♥

Hi friends ~

happy Monday!

I hope you're off to a good start to the week :)
Today I'm sharing some 'tiny love!'

Splitcoaststampers had a challenge to make 'pocket Valentines'

and I thought it was so sweet ♥

For my little valentines, I used several stamp sets from Lawn Fawn,

mixing and matching them.

These little note cards are are 2.5 x 3.5 in size,

 similar in size to the popular ATC's.

I've added small folded cardstock to the back 

to make them into stand alone cards.

 The stamp sets I've used are: Stud Puffin, Upon a Star, Butterfly Kisses

and Eggstra Amazing Easter ♥

I do love my critters!

I used the MFT stitched hill drift dienamic for the bottom 'grass'

and Avery Elle wonky scalloped frames.

I do love critters so so much ~

they are my favorite types of cards to create

and the most types of stamps that I have are cute animals!

CCEE1930 ~ National Moth Week ;)

There's a new challenge at the CCEE Stampers this week:

National Moth Week!

Vicky is our hostess this month and said:

Who knew the moth would have a whole week dedicated to it!!  Use a moth (or butterfly) on your card today.  Extra credit if you actually have a Moth stamp/digital you can use.  

This is an opportunity to add to your Birthday, Thank you, Thinking of you or just all-occasion card stash.  LET THE INSECTS FLY!

 

Moths ~ that's one stamp I'm sure I don't have! ;)

Vicky gave us the option to use a butterfly so I chose that

as I have plenty of those!

I created a card today using Lawn Fawn's Butterfly Kisses.

I used the two critters and several of the butterflies in alternating colors.

I've blended a trio of Ranger inks:

Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick 

and decided to do just a strip of color for this card instead of the whole base.

With thick washi tape, I masked off the sides - off center on purpose ;)

and peeled it off when I was done to have a stripe of color.

I then ran it through the Gemini Jr with a die to create the panel

and added the critters and butterflies.

Super quick and fun!

 The sentiment is from the set, too, and it's using WOW white embossing

powder with a heat gun on #65 black cardstock and a MFT banner die.

COF: Butterfly Kisses :)

Hi friends!

Fluttering by with a hi!

I couldn't be more excited that it is officially summer!

It's so wonderful to have carefree summer days,

not driving back and forth (and back and forth!) to school

and having a schedule that's much. more. relaxed!

My card is for the Crafters of Faith card group

and it's the first card I've made in almost 2 weeks :/

We have a wonderful theme from our hostess, Michelle: 

 Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
Challenge: Keeping it simple with "feature butterflies on your project". I know how the summer months can be!

 And butterflies have always been a favorite of mine.

 I used Butterfly Kisses from Lawn Fawn to include butterflies on my card,

and the cloud die stencil from My Favorite Things

with tumbled glass distress oxide ink.

I also used my much loved and used hills die from Pink and Main 

 (these dies are PINK!)

 to complete the sweet and scenic look. 

This set is just SO SO cute ~ I can see a lot of cards ahead with it!
