The Project Bin: I love Fall!

 Hi friends!

I have 2 posts today ~ This one for The Project Bin

and next up, The Dueling Darlings Diva card.

For today's post at The Project Bin blog, I've created 2 cards using super fun
fall themed paper as part of my Sept-paper installment!

I have tons and tons of designer paper although last year,
 I purged/donated 3/4 of it.
And yet, I still have many MANY 6 x 6 mat stacks to use!

So ... September became Sept-paper!

I love the look of different layers of fun papers
and did some angle layering here.
On this card, the image is from New Leaf,
and if you look through the gallery at TPB, you'll see I've used this many times :)

I stamped the images in Lawn Fawn walnut ink
and popped some enamel dots on them, using all ends of the sheets of dsp.

For the next card, I used the small trims off the sides to create a second
quick thank you card.
The 'thanks' stamp (also in Lawn Fawn walnut ink) is from Autumn's Calling,
another favorite of mine!

Here are both together:

You can find both stamp sets in the shop!

These are both available for purchase here!

Thanks for stopping by!

Big hugs, bigger blessings :)

Happy first day of Fall!

Hi friends!

Happy first day of fall!
Don't you just love this time of year?
Fall is in the air :)

While it's still very hot here and everything is a lovely shade of green,
I so love this time of year.
The world offers us a crispness to the air and the crunch of the leaves,
and the smell of all things autumn in recipes ♥
From candles to coffee, from kitchen decor and front porch doors,
I'm seeing lots and lots of fall!
For me, it's always a wonderful reminder that the holidays
are right around the corner and the promise of many wonderful things to come.

I'm posting my card for The Project Bin a tiny bit early
so I can post on Fall the 1st :)
I've used an older set from The Project Bin but one that I still love so much.
It's called New Leaf and this set is just too cute
with that cute little owl with his big 'ol eyeballs!

Lately, I've been staring at my stacks and stacks of unused paper pads
and thinking ..

'Kel, you really need to use those more!'

My friend Jeanette is the queen of perfectly picked designer papers
and uses them so wisely on her cards ...
The images are perfectly matched to the paper!

I saw the Echo Park autumn papers in my stash
and thought it wouldl make a cute card
by creating a faux tree for the owl.
The card base is from a Lawn Fawn paper pad
and the owls are from Echo Park with my die cut/colored owl sitting
in the tree with all the friends!
The sentiment is a perfect one for the arrival of autumn.

This stamp set is in the shop
and if you click on ANY stamp set, it will take you to a galleries
where you can see samples of gorgeous cards and how you can use the stamps!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥

OWL be there for you ......

\

When the rain starts to fall ...........

Hi  F.R.I.E.N.D.S!

Oh, I do miss watching this show!
I think one of my daughter's was binge-watching it for the first time
recently, and I caught myself once or twice watching!  Again! :)

Mondays are always fun-days since I post a card with a stamp/die set
So OWL be there on The Project Bin blog today, too!

For this week's card, I'm heading back into fall :)
I've used one of the festive autumn sets from a previous stamp release
called New Leaf.

I was inspired by the sweet little owls that often burrow into a small hole,
making homes out of the nooks and crannies in the tree.
I used my circle stitched die to cut the areas in the cardstock,
and used a fall inspired paper to peek through the back.
Once that was in place, I glued it down and assembled the base layers. I chose this colorful designer paper to create a woodland feel.
One of God's most beautiful creations is the changing of the leaves ~
the crisp and crunch and vibrant colors!

Here is the inside of my card:

Before you go, here's  a little musical entertainment
for about 50+ seconds or so!

Happy Day!

Here is the stamp set in it's entirety ↓

I love Fall {most of all} ♥

It's Fall!
Do you love it most of all?!

I do love this time of year ♥
It's just an absolutely beautiful season.

There is something so heart-warming about the week of Thanksgiving ~
the feeling of gratitude and togetherness and blessings abudant.

For my card today, I am channeling
the colors of a warm autumn day when the air is crisp and cool ♥
I've used the New Leaf stamp set,
and the I love Fall stamp is stamped in Chocolate Chip ink from SU!
The cardstock is also SU! chocolate chip and the dsp is
from Pebbles ~ Woodland Forest collection.

I keep using this paper pad over and over - it's divine!
And you can see my stamps are well loved, too :)
I added an assortment of buttons and enamel dots for extra dimension
and character :)

Here's a final peek at the stamp set and overview of my card:

You can find this stamp set in the shop here,
as well as a gallery of cards made with each of the stamp/die sets.
You can always stop in and visit the blog and see a variety of cards
with just about something for everyone :)

Thanks for stopping by today!

Pumpkins, please!

Hello friends!

I'm back from our glorious vacation!
We enjoyed the wonderful resort life
with pools and a lazy river right outside our room ♥
And side trips to Disney World and Islands of Aventure/Universal,
dinners out and so much more ♥
You know they say coming back from vacation ...
you need a vacation ~ hee hee!

We haven't been able to sit still for more than a few hours ~
and yet have to already dash off ..
today is also the first day of school!

So.  not.  ready :(

Mondays are also The Project Bin day on my blog ♥
The Project Bin has 2 new gorgeous stamp sets just added to the store!
One of them is this very set on my cards today:  New Leaf.
It is positively GORGEOUS and
perfect for those fall theme cards.

Here is a quick set of CAS cards I created:

 For this set of cards,
I used my Spellbinder Nestabilities to cut the circular pattern first,
Then I stamped around the cut out using sentiments from New Leaf
and the pumpkin in varied inks, like Clearly Kelly and Ranger Distress Oxide Ink.
I fussy cut the pumpkin,
then added it to the patterned paper background using 3d foam.
The dsp is from PTI and it's from their Fall Leaf Prints collection.

I always complete the inside of my cards, too,
but ran short of time so we'll have to imagine the inside being just as fun! :)

Here's a look at the stamp set, New Leaf,
and it's available in the shop!

It's still in the high 90's here,
I'm hoping it feels like a beautiful autumn starting wherever you are!

Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥
