DDD: B is for baby .....

 Hi all!

A quick post with my Deuling Darlings card for this month!

I'm calling this my 'ketchup' week

 as I'm about 3 cards behind schedule! 

Our hostesses for the August duel for the Dueling Darlings 

are Judy and Donna with a theme of:  babies!

  

Hanna stamps is LONG retired and I smiled when I saw the card kit.
I actually own this stamp set!

I thought I was the only one with a few Hanna stamps left in my collection :)

 

I colored the image with Copic markers

and shortened it from the original image (there's a bib on the end).

For this card, I didn't have a plan in mind where I was going with it.

Most of my cards, I plan a person in mind or an event ~ like a birthday!

I did spy the Inspiration challenge at SCS

and saw this balloon picture to use as the inspiration point.

CCEE1747 ~ Celebrations!

Hi friends :)

It's almost the weekend  ~ woot, woot!

It's also time for a brand new challenge at the CCEE Stampers.

Joanne is our hostess this week and gave us this challenge:

As the last of our celebratory month, I would like you to make a baby card OR a wedding card……your choice. 
(If you have lots of time, you could make both….lol!!!) 

Oh Joanne, you are a hoot!

I went with a baby card using the sweet little sheep from

Gerda Steiner stamps.

This was actually my very first GS stamp set ♥

The little sheep are so versatile,

so I pulled two of them out and added them to a pink dsp themed base.

They are popped up on 3D foam and lightly colored with prismacolor markers.

The banner and heart are cut from MFT dies.
