Hi friends!
I'm late for the graduation party
from the CCEE Stampers!
Lois is our hostess for the June challenges
and is reflecting on the 60th anniversary of her graduation from high school -- circa June
9, 1959!
The challenge is to make a card
depicting their favorite subject in school.
This was an easy one for me ~
Art Class!
Every time I got the chance, I would draw and doodle and paint ~
just like most of you, I'm sure!
Now here we are - still coloring and painting and making cards!
My card is using the Complimentary Colors kids from Neat and Tangled.
I thought it was a perfect match for the theme!
I created the gorgeous backdrop by blending distress oxide inks
and adding to the card base.
I can't take credit for the original design of this card :)
This week, the Featured Stamper on Splitcoaststampers is Wanda Cullen!
Her gallery is one I could just wander through and more than once!
You can see her card here.
I've kept the original design and changed the colors and the stamped images.
You can see the design team cards here on the CCEE blog
as well as link up to add your card, too!
Thanks for visiting today!
Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥
~Kelly

Wow - everything is just perfect. The complimentary colors and the sentiment/ Just total cuteness Kelly!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card and inspiration behind making it.Love the inked background and great sentiment.I hated art as it was very regimented and all perspective and I cannot draw for toffee but I love the free way of watercolouring-should have taught us this this at school x
ReplyDeleteSo cute and such a great blended background. I like how you show the stamp sets and how you can change the colors on the tubes. Very well done.
