TPB: Ghostly Greetings!

Boo!
Did I scare you?!

Aw, shucks - I tried! :)

Hi friends!

I'm up on the blog at The Project Bin today
and am using an oldie but goodie stamp set:  Cool Ghoul!
I'm seeing lots and lots of Halloween cards lately ~
it's hard to believe October is just 2 months away!

This is one of the fun cards I created with another alcohol background,
a forest die, cut with black card stock, and some cute ghosts.
I glued the forest frame die cuts onto the alcohol panel to create the scene.
I heat embossed the sentiment in white for some contrast.

Here's what it looks like:

There are 2 new stamps sets in the The Project Bin shop:
Mine are still en route,
so I wasn't able to play with the new stamps yet,
but they are already available for purchase and just in time for fall! ♥

Thanks for stopping by today!
Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥

TPB: I see real people!

Happy Monday!

I love, love, LOVE punny cards
and cards that have a sense of humor :)
So it's no surprise that I giggled when I saw the sentiments
in the Cool Ghoul stamp/die set from The Project Bin!

This set is perfect for making your fun Halloween cards
and fall projects ~ and there's still plenty of time to get them in the mail!

I've made a peek-a-boo card ~
starts on the front, finishes on the inside :)
I had a lot of fun creating this card!
  ↓

 It's an A2 size card,
with a die cut through the center for the ghouls to peek through :)
The ghosts are stamped and die cut with the matching dies from the stamp set.

Now the sentiment was a little more of a labor of love!
It's actually a horizontal sentiment stamp,
and for this card, I needed a vertical.
So, I masked the sentiment to stamp it one word at a time
and moved the orange cardstock in my Stamping Platform
down by one word at a time,
creating a slightly wonky look.
I added the enamel dots for a little extra design
and finished off the inside of the card and done!

Here's the card standing from an aerial view:

And YAY!
This stamp/die set will be showcased all week long!
The designers will be showing their cards using Cool Ghoul
so you'll see many different inspirations and fun uses.

Be sure to stop into the shop for this stamp/die set and more!
Here is a quick peek at the set in it's entirety:

BOO!

Did I scare you?

(honestly ~ sometimes I plain 'o scare myself!
 LOL!)

Hello and happy Monday!
It's the 1st day of school here for my son and
the girls are back in college today as well AND
I'm just getting in from 6 days of vacation.
Except I brought home a little something extra ~ the flu!
At least the trip was absolutely wonderful
and it was just the long ride home that was a little hard! :)

Exciting news at The Project Bin stamps!
Denise - owner and creative inspiration behind TPB stamps,
has been busy creating beautiful new stamp/die sets - just in time for fall ♥
Today's card is showcasing one of the new stamp/die sets ...

For this card, I stamped out the 'ghouls' and used the coordinating dies
to pop them up onto a whimsical halloween card.

The paper, at first glance, looks funny - almost like maybe it's upside down!
But it's not - it's from Doodlebug and has that every which way wording ;)

And here's a look at the festive inside ↓

I carried over the same whimsical halloween paper and stamped
the ghouls directly onto the cardstock paper
and added another sentiment.
And just in case you didn't know, only 71 more days until Halloween!
Plenty of time to get your costumes and ideas going,
even more time to get your candy,
but now's a perfect time to plan ahead for shopping for stamps/dies
from The Project Bin!
This is a perfect addition for making cards, scrapbook layouts and more :)
Here it is in entirety:

You can find it here in the shop,
as well as a product catalog with samples from each stamp set.
And, as always, the inspiration blog with week day posts from the Design Team.

Thanks for stopping by!
Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥
