Hi friends!
I hope today you're having a marvelous start to Sunday!
And if you look around,
and happen to see my mojo,
please send it back home!
I'm so absolutely not mojo-vated to make cards right now
and that's NO BUENO!
A busy household can make for a creative slump!
Today's card is for the Mission Possible challenge,
a fun cardmaking idea started by my friend, Jeanette.
I'm grateful that she invited me to play along with her in this fabulous idea
making the impossible mission possible!
The idea?
Jeanette buys - or finds - 3 of 'something' quarterly ~
and sends that item to Barb, myself (and keeps one for herself!)
Then, the 3 of us create a card based on said mystery item.
This month: A rubber stamp sentiment!
Here is her super fun Mission Possible challenge:
Good Day, Ms. Card-Maker. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves the use of a substance that will be revealed to you upon opening this package. Two team members have been selected to work with you, I am one of them and the other one will be revealed within a reasonable timespan. She is an equally talented card-maker who, like you, will be given the opportunity to accept or decline this mission. Should you choose to accept the mission, you have a month to complete it, in which case at some point within the next month you will create a card using the enclosed substance on it and post it somewhere in a public forum (blog, gallery, FB, Instagram, or such). The theme of the card can be any of your choosing; the only requirement is that the substance be used in some way. Should you or any of the other two team members get caught with the substance on your fingers or clothing, laughter is sure to ensue. And Ms. Card-Maker, those laughing will disavow any responsibility for their laughter.
This message will not self-destruct in five seconds, since I have no ability to do that and besides, you might need to refer to it again at some point.
She sent us this sweet sentiment stamp from Whipper Snapper.
I paired it with a stamp from Simon Says Stamp
which I stamped and colored with prismacolor markers.
Once it was done, I nestled it behind the frame and added purple papers.
This sentiment is so very sweet.
I love that Jeanette thought of us when she purchased ot
and even more generous to send it!
Thanks, Jeanette!
You can see her card here and Barb's card here.
And here's a sweet reminder for all!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Big hugs, bigger blessings!
