Hi friends!
Today's card is for my very VERY favorite card series -
One Plus Twelve :)
The idea I take one stamp
- and only one stamp -
and use it creatively twelve different times!
This year, I chose my favorite flower - Magnolias -
and I'm using the Magnolia stamp and die from Altenew.
For March, I knew I wanted to use my favorite color green <3
This month always reminds me of spring
and everything turning green again with new growth, new life!
I did some stamped line watercoloring,
although it wasn't as successful as I'd hoped, I still like it :)
To create this card, it took a lot of different products and layers
so let me walk you through it!
Here's my card:
I started a base layer of cardstock and used my striped stencil
to create the subtle lines with Ranger distress ink in Shabby Shutters.
I blended the ink with the stencil using the using the new-to-me
scrapbook.com domed blenders and they are amazing!
Once that was done, I used a small rectangle stitched die to
die cut 3 matching panels as a backdrop.
Next up, I used another distress ink in Peeled Paint to stamp the image
and used a paint brush and water to pull the ink
After that was dry, I used the matching die cut for the magnolia
and popped that up on foam, too - and added a sentiment and sequins.
And that's my March One Plus Twelve card!
Thanks for stopping by!
