LLAMA tell you ...........

I'm going a little bit bonkers!

I opened my email today ~ while sitting at a long red light ~
and squealed so loud from pure delight,
I am certain the cars next to me heard me!

Some super duper absolutely awesome fun begins in February!!

SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!

Meanwhile, just wanted to say .......

you are weird,
but I love ya!

I didn't get my Christmas cards out as I'd planned
so I've been making cards upon cards
and trying to send out more snail mail and getting ahead of the game!

This stamp set is one of my first and favorites from Gerda Steiner!
These llamas!!
They are delightful!

Colored and fussy cut, popped up and stamped out ~
super easy card for a friend .... already en route!
I hope she likes it :)

Happy weekend!

Thanks for stopping by :)
Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥

Mission ... Impossible (card!)

Hi friends!
There's a new challenge at the CCEE Stampers and it's impossible.
The Impossible Card, that is!
Lynn, our hostess for the month of July, gave us this challenge
and I love her for that!

I don't think I would have trusted myself

to even attempt this card fold on my own.
It did take a little wine research on YouTube
and, llama tell you, it really isn't as hard as it looks!

It also helped that I got to play with my Gerda Steiner Llama Tell You
stamp set to set the stage for this Impossible Card.
I absolutely ADORE this stamp set
and llamas are at the tippy top list of my very, very, VERY favorites! ♥

Here's what it looks like from an aerial view ↑

With this card fold, I used a standard A2 size.
It's easy to adjust to a larger card size but for me, this works.
And it lays completely flat to fit nicely into an envelope!

I went with limeade splash cardstock to play off the outdoorsy theme,
and chose two Echo Park paper pads: Happy Camper and Summer Dreams
to bring out the colors and create variety.
I colored all the cute critters with promarkers
and the sentiments were stamped on cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Ink.
The sentiments in this stamp set are hysterical!

To see all the of the DT cards, head over to the CCEE Stampers blog
for more inspirations with the Impossible Card.

If you'd like to play along and make your own, no prob-llama!
You can link it up on the CCEE blog or by clicking here

CCEE1727 ~ Masks

Hi friends!

It's time for a new challenge at the CCEE Stampers ~ Masks!
Our hostess, Maryann, asked us to:
Create a card using a mask, whether it is using a masking technique
of a stamped image of a mask.

Since I don't own any mask stamps, I went the technique route :)
I needed to create a thank you card for a family
that recently invited my fun and crazy bunch over for dinner.
One comment we get often is "you guys sure are a fun bunch!"
So, naturally, I had to create a "fun" card *grin!*

The wonderful thing I love about the CCEE Stampers
is that we use our own stamps, any one from our stash.
It gets me inking them up again or for the first time.

Today's card is a combo of both:
one old, one new and both from Gerda Steiner Designs.
I used Llama tell you and How are Ewe?
To create this card, I stamped the larger ewe, then masked her off,
and stamped the smaller lamb behind her.
Same thing for the llama, masked off behind the larger one.
And the little birdie is just hanging out :)
I added faux grass by using Pink and Main dies,
stamped a quick sentiment and added enamel dots for grass divets.

You can see what all the designers have made using masks
by clicking the CCEE blog link or on their blogs.
Thank EWE for stopping by today :)

Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥
