Fall Fun with Friends!

 Hi friends!

It's time for another week of Fall Fun with Friends!

This is a wonderful group of cardmaking friends on Instagram

and you can see all the fun themes and card inspirations here!

This week our theme from Kati was "Fall gnomes or Autumn Wreaths"

I knew immediately I was going to break out 

the Stamptember gnomes from Clearly Besotted ~

they are a GEM!  

(Fun fact:  I had a different card - which I adored - but 

my daughter said 'that's not fall - that's spring!"

EEK!

So I quickly re-thunk my card and recolored the flowers more fall-ish

 AND it fits my personal challenge of Peachtober! :)

There is a lot of texture on this card from die cutting the images

and popping them up on 3D foam.

I colored them with my prismacolor markers and included the florals

in a wreath-y shape and added one of the gnomes to the front.

There's another gnome on the inside of the card :)

BREWIN' up some FUN!

 Hi friends!

Very quick post today as we are in Florida 

and need to batten down the hatches as we anxiously await 

hurricane Milton.

Please think good thoughts and PRAY for our state!

My card is very simple and I'm not at all happy with it

but I had to post it for the 3M - 3 Musketeers - card group.

We are Jeanette, Barb and myself and take turns

sending an image (safe within the angel policies!)

and this month Jeanette sent us this hilarious Witchy Way

by C C Designs.

I looked it up since I hadn't seen it before and it has a trio

of super funny witches!

I fussy cut the witch and popped her on a backdrop of vellum

to keep her from getting lost in the designer paper, 

which is from Photo Play.

Not-so-scary Scarecrow!

 Hi friends!

It's Harvest time!

 Today we're heading to the farm!

I'm sharing a card with a scarecrow hanging out with his friends

in the pumpkin patch / sunflower fields.

Lawn Fawn has a new challenge ~ Sightseeing! 

I used Happy Harvest stamps and dies and colored them with

my prismacolor markers.

I also added on the slimline picket fence border die in kraft cardstock 

and trimmed it to A2 size.

Finally, I added a wee mouse from Bubbles of Joy as I thought 

it was a cute addition!

We anxiously pray for our state of Florida

with a succession of hurricanes and now Milton.

 Praying for all in it's path as well as the aftermath of Helene <3

LEAF into fall!

 Hi friends!

We're LEAFing into fall!

And nope - that's not a typo :)

October is an exciting month of fall colors, 

beautiful changes and the promise of things to come <3

Today I'm sharing a card featuring Newton's Nook Harvest Truck

on the way home from the farmer's market!

One of my favorite past times is heading to the farmer's market

 on the weekends to get our freshly grown organic vegetables!

In a bustling busy city like mine, it's a treat to drive

into the rural undeveloped farm areas to buy fresh from the farms :)

I colored the adorable farm truck with my markers

and if you squint real hard you can see behind the image 

is a very light ink blend.

The sentiment is EVERYTHING!

I love how you can mix and match it with other NND sets and more!

AND ...

it's also Bella's truck - IYKYK, LOL!!

Been farmin' long?

 

Hi friends!

Today we're heading to the farm!

This week for the Wednesday Fall Friends card group,

our theme is Hayrides and Fall Festivals!

I wanted to make a fall themed card with a tractor

for an upcoming family event 

and yep, it's on a quaint little barn out in the country!

lI used Lawn Fawn Hay There stamps and dies

as well as the Lawn Fawn grassy border die to make the rows.

I wanted to make them a yellow-amber color to resemble rows

of farmers fields and hay.

The one teeny tiny solo cow is from Tiny Farm!

I blended the clouds with a stencil and used ballet slippers

and bubblegum ink pads.

You're the G.O.A.T!

{greatest of all time!}

I just LOVE that sentiment!  

It's what my son and granddaughter call each other 

when they see each other :) 

To hear that little voice "what's up, GOAT!" is so stinkin' sweet!

Today's card is featuring the adorable goats from Lawn Fawn.

I was super blessed to cross off Goat Yoga from my long awaited 

bucket list when my beautiful daughter took me for my birthday.

We had a blast!

I'll definitely add that to my 'try again list', too!

I added the sweet goat stamps to a grassy little farm area

and just love the little one jumping up into the air!

I'll have to give this one to my grand from my son

since it was created with her in mind after all!

Hi friends!

Got presents?  No peeking!

I just adore this peeking dragon from Whimsy Stamps!

For this card, I turned it into a Christmas card.

I added a tree die from Whimsy Stamps (ret'd) and used Ranger's

Distress Spritz Spray in Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers. 

I think it gives it such a pretty shimmer and shine!

ATC's - Monthly Group!

Hi friends!

Today I'm sharing a set of ATC (Artist Trading Cards)

for a monthly swap over hosted by my sweet friend Melissa.

 It's always Anything Goes ..

which is fun because it's always a BRIGHT idea to play with supplies!

LOL!!

Here are my FIREFLY ATCs!

I think they are just positively adorable!

ATC's are traditionally 2.5 x 3.5 " cards ~

mine are a sqaure 2.5 x 2.5 so I could use the stitched frame die

from My Favorite Things.

I layered the adoreable firefly paper from Doodlebugs

and Lawn Fawn Little Fireflies colored with Olo markers.

Hi friends! I hope today brings you peace and love :) For today’s card, I wanted to share a positive message. I used @concordand9th flower dies from #summercamp and the sentiment from a stamp set in the kit. I die cut and assembled all the flowers thinking how much we are the same - starting as one but joined together, it’s beautiful! One small flower petal stands alone but building the layers, one by one, and finally a full bloom - that’s a connection and friendship and support that’s magic!
