Hi friends!
School has officially started here!
My son, and our youngest child, is officially a high schooler!
He had an amazing first day!
He found a lot of friends and has them in his classes.
Me?
Not the best start to the new school year!
I just got my Expedition back from the mechanic this weekend,
and not even 24 hours later,
this was me.
Broken down, tow truck called.
My daughter said ...
"Yes, but look at that blue sky!
"Yes, but look at that blue sky!
That grass so green!"
LOL!!
Yes - there's that! :)
Back to my card!
I'm using an older set from The Project Bin today
because fall is right around the corner!
Time to start thinking about the autumn cards, fall and Halloween!
This adorable set is one of my oldest and favorites: Creepy Halloween!
This sentiment and spider crack me up.
To create this card,
I used white card stock and a scalloped die.
You all know by know these are my absolute favorite dies ~
My Favorite Things!
I stamped the spider and the sentiment on the top and die cut it to fit.
I used Brutus Monroe Raven ink ~ it stamps so crisp and clear!
The die I used the scalloped basic edge
and some really fun paper from Pink and Main.
I saw the orange stripes and it reminded me of fall!
Here is the set in it's entirety:
Thanks for stopping by!
Big hugs, bigger blessings ♥
~Kelly
I hate spiders, but I love yours and your card (as long as it doesn't decorate my house).

Tee hee! This is too cute Kelly! They are for sure decorating the outside of my house right now! :) Totally agree with you about that Raven ink...a new fave of mine for sure! Car problems are NO fun and expensive especially when you have little ones getting to school! Sending HUGS
ReplyDeleteWe are having lots of spiders coming in our house at the moment. I hate them and they come out at night, always when my hubby is fast asleep!! I just shut the door of the room they are in. Hubby deals with them in the morning. Your card is fun so I like it!! Big hugs and blessings, Carol S.xxxx
ReplyDeleteAh ah ah :D Such fun sentiment!! I have never thought about spiders under this point of view! LOL :D Sweet design, and love very much the die you used!! I have already seen it, but I didn't know its brand, so thanks for saying, now it's just in my wish list! LL :D
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable!! The spider is too cute and I love the sentiment!! I hope you are able to get your car fixed correctly this time!! Have a great evening!! Big hugs :)

Spiders, EEK! I can't stand them and they seem to be everywhere. I have to be careful when I go outside because they usually have a web that extends from the door to the carport. Your spider on your card is so cute, and I know it can't jump on me! TFS!
ReplyDeleteSo glad your son had a great first day of High School! That's always a relief when starting somewhere new! AND OMGOSH! How Horrible to have your car break down after getting it back from the shop! GRRR - I'd be so upset with them wondering WTHech happen? I agree with your daughter on it looking like a lovely day, but that can change when you become stressed on something that should be working that's not! So I can see her & your side of the situation! :) I hope it gets fixed ASAP!
ReplyDeleteOn another note - Your card is Adorably cute! I LOVE Halloween and it's so fun to see all the different cards being made right now - Super cute!

Oh no! Sorry to hear about the need for a tow truck on such a gorgeous day with blue skies and green grass. I hope you're in good working order again soon.
ReplyDeleteYour card is so fun - that saying with the spider cracks me up. Such a joy to see your design!
This is a super fun Halloween card - so different! Love that saying, along with the cute spider! Funny, my car was at the mechanics last Wednesday - "twice" too!! Hope you're back on wheels again soon!
ReplyDeleteI love that saying. I am always using that excuse about not cleaning the cobwebs in the fall. Great job!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your car! Hope it is really fixed soon.
Fabulous card and stamp set Kelly. I hope your mechanic fixes your card better this time..loz
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute stamp set and card. The sentiment is super cute. Sorry about your vehicle and hope you get back on the road soon.
